I'm getting a little spooked here already. How many of you have already gotten a PM from a WC person "warning" you about me? This is how they work.
In fact, one of my friends called me yesterday in tears because of this misinformation that had just been posted about her yesterday.
Please PM me. IF I DON'T HEAR from you I'll KNOW something's up.
In any case, I don't feel comfortable posting here anymore.....
-
Come on Mizsissy/Buffalogirl/j95 and now Myranda (whats with all the constant new identities)...grow up. If anyone has received a pm warning them about you I would imagine there would be a good reason behind it. I personally have sent no private messages to anyone...even after you threatened me in the wc forum. Saying you will "hunt people down" etc. does not make you a very nice sounding person. You lied to me...about a lot of things...you deeply hurt a sister for no reason.
"This is how they work"...give me a break. We are a very caring loving group that goes out of our way to include everyone and if I remember correctly we welcomed you when you started posting. You chose to call a sister and tell her terrible things to hurt her...you got caught...we haven't hurt you...you caused a great deal of harm in the circle.
Start your own forum...go away.
I notified the moderators about your threats and told them the entire story. I can supply all the proof they need to back it up. They can call one lovely women and learn all they need to know.
I am sure this post will get deleted and I apologize to all the lovely women here...I would do nothing to hurt any of you but I will not stand by and let someone cause harm either...ever. I apologize to to our moderators that this subject can't just be dropped once and for all.
Hugs and best wishes to you all and
Mizsissy...let it go...drop it! Do not contact me...I will turn it over to the authorities.

MODERATORS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED
The only threats I made here were to see that the rules of the forum which are already in existence were enforced, specifically
- You agree not to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.
- You agree not to submit any personally-identifiable information about any person without their prior consent.
You and others in your group have violated these rules so many times and published so much harmful and misleading information, I could not stand by and let you harm my friend when she had no defense and no way to get on the computer and protect herself. You and your friends seem to get their thrills by launching personal attacks on people, just as you are doing now. You don't belong over here for any other reason than to harass us. You and others have acted like this forum is your own personal hunting ground where you can bully, intimidate, and harass people at will. I refuse to be bullied by you any longer.Gals...see this was what I was telling you about, and this is why we are no longer going to post in this forum. I am very sorry that a nice thread like this got contaminated...yes, we will go elsewhere.
Myranda (aka MIZSISSY)

aka Buffalogal aka j95 aka who knows what other 'identities' you have assumed
-
You agree not to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.
YOU...have done all of the above...defamed someones husbands name...abused a friendship for a hopeful monetary gain, stalked not only me but others, threatened not only me but others. It is all recorded. It is all documented.
The friend that you say we hurt is the women YOU called and hurt...not us...you called her and gave her misinformation. YOU called and hurt her. YOU told her she was being called a liar and a fake...NOT us...YOU.
I am leaving this site. You are to much to deal with and it appears that the moderators just don't care.
-
MZsissy, you were welcomed to the Circle when you came. This group of women were nothing but kind to you. Then you decided it'd be great fun to take this kindness for granted by assuming a different identity and starting a disagreement. It went downhill from there. Your dramatics has stressed everyone. You started this whole mess and then you got caught, which you should've expected. Let it go. Everyone knows you it's all out in the open.
Yes, I agree, the moderators will be notified. With attachments.
-
Not sure who or what you are so guess I will call you by your latest identitie Myranda You asked me once about true friends and I just wanted to let you know that you are not, have never been and will never be one.
After what you have done to my real friends, I find it hard to imagine how you can look at yourself in the mirror when you wake up in the morning.
I remember saying " goodbye and go"once before when you tried to cause problems and stress to my friends, I think then you were using another of your many names "Buffalogal" if I am correct.
Well I would just like to repeat what I said then GOODBYE AND GO, and I hope the moderators this time take the action that is needed to stop your threats and unwarrented attacks on other members of this site.

Puppy: You and I have known each other for a very long time. Almost 1 ½ years. I always watched out for you as you have for me.
This doesnt explain much. What I see is some of you becoming friends on the telephone and talking everyday. You had disagreements and instead of keeping it private - it was brought here - to a sight where all we want to do is help each other. You say your friend loves me? I find that hard to believe. Lots of unkind things have been said about the WC. Threats to hunt us down. Someone that cares, doesnt try to deceive others by changing names and pretending to be different people. This I don't forgive - but its easy for me - I choose to use the ignore button.Involving innocent people. And making these wonderful boards seem intimidating and unfriendly. That was wrong on your friends part. You all need to keep your arguments to yourselves and not involve innocent people. Many nice people have been hurt.I say this stuff needs to end now.Nicki -
Well said Nicki and totally agree, unable to add any more words to what you have written as you have expressed the way I also feel.

Ladies,
I do not want to be involved in whatever psychodrama is brewing. This thread is a support for those of us who are trying to improve our level of fitness.
I find that the thread has been 'hijacked'.
I am saddened and embarassed by what I have been reading.
Please take your discussions elsewhere.
To Carol, Myranda, Raye and Mary and all the other lovely ladies who occasionally post on this thread,
I say full spead ahead!
Yesterday I did my stair workout in 33 minutes. I am almost back to my precancer speed! (Of course I then went out with the dh and had two cosmos and the 'sample' platter at our local watering hole.)
Mary, your sport circuit workout sounded like great fun. I think I would like the different activities and not get bored like I usually do when I am working out inside.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
-
Casey,
Well said.
Great job on the stair workout! That is great. You've got great will power/dedication/drive/ambition (I could go on and on) and it has certainly paid off.
I am going to try to get back in shape. I ran the Race for the Cure on Sunday at 41 minutes - well, I only ran 1 mile and then power walked the rest. bah! Oh well, I am three weeks out post proph mast so that is my excuse.
Hope the rest of you had a wonderful weekend! I think fall is here.
xoxo
Raye
-
Casey- thanks for framing the hijack issue. I agree-this thread was started so we could cheer each other on as we get in shape after chemo! Let's keep our posts on topic! For those of you who have other agendas-- start a Days of Our Lives thread!
Raye! I think it is very impressive that you did Race for the Cure three weeks post-mast! I'm doing Race for the Cure in Portland this Sunday. I am looking forward to seeing old friends and visiting favorite restaurants! It's been two years since I visited, and I am taking my 10-year old daughter with me.
Casey-congrats on the stair workout. What exactly do you do? I work on the 4th floor of a building, and I was thinking I could run the stairs once or twice a day to stretch out after sitting at my desk.
Tonight- sports circuit! I think I posted too soon Thursday, because by Friday I could hardly move--mostly my calves. Too much jumping rope and stepping up! I am going to go a little easier tonight!
Myranda, Carol, Dottie, Cathy? How are your workouts coming along?
Hope you all have a good Monday. My five year old has figured out after one month of kindergarten that Mondays stink!
Mary
-
Mary - You're an animal! I have been back at my gym since I finished rads. Back to my pre diagnosis workout. One hour cardio and then weight machines. But I find it difficult to lose anything. I have a PET scan on Wednesday and they said no workout for 24 hours prior so I am taking it easy all week. I am afraid if I work out hard something will show up as a false positive! So i am taking it easy for a couple of days.Raye, Congratulations on your race - that is a great accomplishment so soon after surgery. Casey, I haven't done stairs in forever - I should give it a try again. I also want to try jump roping but Im afraid that my own ass may injure me. Maybe when I lose a few more! Carol
-
Hello to all of you who are interested in the "Spa & Shape Up".
I'm keeping up the water aerobics and body sculpting classes but am not always consistent because of appointments I may have. I've noticed that some of my jeans are fitting tighter. I think I need to concentrate on diet as well. Has anyone improved their diet "post chemo"? If so, what are you doing?
Hope all the O/T stuff will cease and desist!!!
Take care everybody!
-
Carol!
Thanks for the laugh! I doubt your butt can harm you. I just read an article on Brazilian women and their great rears; maybe you just have a little something in common with them. I hope the PET scan is clear.
Raye,
I am very impressed; I think that doing the Race three weeks post surgery is way cool.
Mary,
I hope sports circuit was a little easier tonight. I think your 5 year old may have it right. Do you remember the Boomtown Rats song, "I don't like Mondays"?
As for my stair workout; we have this trail known as 'The Kaymoor Steps'. It takes you from the rim of the New River Gorge down to the river. It is something like 800+ steps plus a steep trail. It is a short, intense workout. I usually jog down and walk up. I have never been able to run up all those steps.
Thomcat,
Muscle maybe?
If not maybe it is time to count calories. I know a lot of ladies have had success with weight watchers. Me, I recommend taking a look at your eating habits and finding small changes that are relatively easy to make. No one ever believes me but I was the fat kid in highschool (As a matter of fact, I suffered the trifecta of nerdiness; I was fat, smart and wore glasses). I took about three years to change my eating habits. Now I would just as soon eat a carrot as a cookie. Now if I could only get to where I liked water as much as I like a glass of wine at night.
Myranda/Mizsissy,
Please come back.
Tonight I taught spin class so I am taking tomorrow off. There will be no sweating except that which occurs due to hot flashes.
Take care ladies!
Casey
-
Carol, That ass comment is hilarious! Good luck with your scan.
Cathy- Here is my diet tip. I got this from a doctor who writes a column in our local paper. It is wonderfully simple and sublime: No white foods. If you follow this simple rule, you will only eat whole grains and you will eliminate refined sugar. Since cancer, my family has committed to dropping white flour in our breads, pasta, and even pancakes and waffles. As far as sugar goes-- that's a tough one to give up for me! I try to limit desserts to a nibble of dark chocolate every day and a nice dessert a couple of times a week. The "no white foods" also cuts out potatoes, but we have started using yellow finns and sweet potatoes which actually have more nutrients and taste pretty good.
Luckily, vodka is clear, not white!
Sports circuit was great last night. They had a cool gravity machine for lying on and doing pull-ups. Those took up so much room, we couldn't jog around the gym. Yeah! Tonight I swim. No sweat!
Casey, you continue to amaze me with your workouts. That step routine sounds pretty intense! I have cut way back on alcohol since starting to work out in the evenings. We eat an early dinner and head to the Y for 6:30. It's almost 8 when we get home, so we avoid happy hour! I sang that Boomtown Rats song to my son when I woke him up Monday morning! I guess we are the same age? I'm 42.
Nice to hear from you all. MizSissy, come on back!
Mary
-
Mary,
I'm 43.
Glad to hear sports circuit went well. You are right about white foods. I do love my pasta and the occasional pancake but aside from that we eat very little white foods in our house. I made that choice mostly based on fiber content. We try and eat a lot of vegetables. My husband and I debate on how long green beans ought to be cooked as I prefer "Yankee style" and he prefer's "Southern style". Last time I cooked them they came out a pretty nice compromise between the two. At this point though we are sick of tomatoes and all varieties of peppers. I planted 21 tomato plants and 16 pepper plants this spring. What was I thinking?!
Carol,
Let us know how things went.
Raye,
Keep up the training. It's all downhill from here.
Me,
My husband is trying to convince me to try an 8K on October 6. The race course is flat and who knows... if the stars are aligned properly I might just give it a try. I do know it will be a last minute decision.
Have a super day!

HI Casey,
I think you should definitely go for the 8K. That's fabulous. I used to run when I was younger, I'm 51 now, haven't done it in years. I am trying to run a minute or two at a time on the treadmill when I do my workout but usually feel like I am going to cough up a lung. I guess a little at a time and I should be able to build up a tolerance. go for it- it will be a great accomplishment!
Had my scan yesterday - now just waiting on the results. Hoping for the best. Carol
-
Carol,
HAA. Oh, that made my day!!! Although, really I am sure that is not about to happen!!! How did the PET scan go? When will you hear back? Thinking of you.
Cathy - I am with Casey - Calories - plain and simple: cut them back. Works for me. I had gained about 20 lbs, tried everything and then went to Jenny Craig. They put me on 1200 calories per day. It was hard at first, but it worked. I lost 22 lbs and kept it off during chemo, even though I was no longer eating the "Jenny" food. The program taught me proper portion size and to make healthy food choices. Also, I avoid pasta, white bread, potatoes, as Mary mentioned. All sugar.
Mary, that sports circuit sounds wonderful. I really need to tone up. My muscles are still in my legs, but my arse is falling (I'd better not jump rope either) and I have flag wavin arms.
Casey - thanks for the encouragement. I am still having fluid aspirated from my mast, so I THINK (ha) I will start Monday?? Want to do weights and run, not just run like I used to.
Ok ladies, have a wonderful day!
Raye
-
Whoo hooo!!!! PET scan was all clear. I am so relieved! Thanks for all the good wishes. Carol
-
Carol -
GREAT NEWS!!! Yippee. Thanks for sharing!
Have a great weekend.
Raye

Hi Ladies,
I'm an infrequent poster here because I cannot keep up workouts and am getting very flabby, but I've been lurking on this thread...
Carol -- GREAT NEWS -- I'm so happy for you!
Raye -- I got scolded by surgeon for power-walking too soon after lumpectomy (last Aug) but kept walking anyway, and after Mast (third surgery in Nov) I kept the drain tube for 12 days and then had to be aspirated three times after that because I'm just kind of hyper, always half-way jogging, even in the office hallways! ... drainage eventually stops, and you can start sweating as much as you want...
Mary, Raye and Casey -- you're all so young. I'm 51 like Carol, (btw, how can you be retired already??!!)
Raye -- who is in your new avatar ?
Mary -- I can do Vodka -- add some V-8 and it's all good -- no calories!! I'm going to the gym tomorrow morn for the first time in six weeks... hope I'm not gasping tomorrow night!
Anyone Jewish? I'm not, but hope Yom Kippur is peaceful for all...
Dottie
-
Carol--Great news on the scans! Woohoo!
Raye, I hate drains! I don't know what aspirating is, but I'm imagining big needles and fluid. Ouch!
I am so in love with sports circuit! It is the perfect ADHD workout! On Wednesday it was all about agility training-sprints and rotating around this obstacle course of balls. I had enough energy when I got to the stationary bikes to actually stand up on mine and RIDE!
Casey, go for the 8k. I am going to try to be ready for the 5K Komen run in Baton Rouge in March. That gives me plenty of time to procrastinate!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Mary -
Dottie,
You are so right! I had my mast on August 22, drains out one week later, and have been aspirated every week since! 52cc's last week and have to go again Weds and probably the week after. My doctor says because I've been active. Mary, it doesn't hurt as I am numb where she sticks the needle in. I don't feel a thing.
The boy in the avatar is my nephew! cutie. I am the Cher of the avatars.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
Raye
-
Raye,
You surely are the Cher of Avatars and just like Cher, never one to disappoint!
PS: It's Tuesday. How did Monday's workout go?
Carol,
Happy,happy,joy,joy!Happy, happy,joy, joy!Happy,happy,joy,joy!!
Mary,
Glad you are groovin' with the sports circuit. ADHD workouts appeal to me.
Dottie,
Keep posting. Flabby, shmabby. You'll get back into shape. It is so $#@$ hard when you start but exercise gets to be such an addiction. Set small, achievable goals and the next thing you know you will be laughing at your formerly out of shape self.
I too wish peace to all. Enough violence and sadness. Let's hear it for the monks in Burma!!!!
-
Whew -- I did almost 40 mins on the treadmill and then 20 more on the eliptical (?) push-pull thing on Sat ... I love that one cause it works out upper body and I don't really like weight machines. Wasn't too sore on Sunday, except for usual aches from Tamox! Golfed Monday after work, so that's a wee bit of running around. I just gotta get off the nightly wine and chips during TV...
Cher -- cute nephew!!
Casey -- cute partner you got too!
Time for bed,
Dottie
-
Raye and Casey- love the avatars! That is a huge dog, Casey!
I had a great weekend in Portland, but I think I od'ed on cancer. The race, the survivor luncheon, plus my daughter came with me and her best friend's mom died of BC in April. She was the first of four women on our block to be diagnosed in the past four years. She had inflammatory bc. Four women. One city block. Kinda scary!
Going to sports circuit tonight. I skipped swimming last night to have chinese food and chocolate cake with my family.
My best to you all.
Mary
