new scan
hi there , well started on the new anti dep and feel a litle better , managed to go into town and do some housework (a miracle as havnt felt like doing in ages )
My onclogist rang me at home last night and has ordered a new scan for 1 months time , due to raising tumour markers since chemo ended .(thet had gone all the way down to 22 with andrioymicin then when it ended have started rising a fair bit . now 115) i have been so depressed as we really thought the chemo had stabalised it and my onc was expecting scar tissue .
The scans were good tho as i got shrinkage to 5% and bones doing well , but he said in the time in between it could of become active again , seems so fast to me if this is the case . i am on aromasin now as er pos and her2 neg . sorry if you have heard this before , i go on like a brocken record sometimes .
hugs to all , Tracy xx

Tracey,
It's ok, vent away. Don't feel bad if aromasin didn't help you, it did absolutely nothing for me except help my cancer to progress. I am now on faslodex and having an excellent response. Be happy your onc is staying on top of things for you and seems to be looking out for you well.

So glad you are feeling better! I have said a prayer that your scans will continue to show improvement.
I am happy your onc is being so proactive. There are many more options out there - and they are less dibilitating than andrioymicin. Hang in there, sweetie. Hugs, Jacque
