Just made the tutorial for how to get a picture posted on the BCO forum. Hope this helps and that we will have more pictures coming!

Fumi, that was the best instructions I have ever seen.  I wasn't sure how to post the code.  They have the size on there so I didn't know if I had to do that.  Now I need to go back somewhere and find how to post an avatar.

Putting a picture as an avatar is a completely different thing than posting a picture in your post. First, you don't even need to save your avatar on the free picture hosting site like Photobucket.com etc. You can directly upload a picture to your BCO account. Here's the instructions:

    1. Browse through your computer and find a small picture that can be used as an avatar.
    2. Go back to the forum and click on "My Home" link up above the screen.
    3. You will see three sections on your "My Home" page: "My Activity", "My Profile" and "My Preferences". Click on "My Profile".
    4. Click on "edit" right next to "Public Information".
    5. Scroll down to the bottom and go to "Upload my avatar" box.
    6. Hit "browse" button. A small window will pop up and browse to the image file you want to use as an avatar. Select it and hit "Open" button on that small window.
    7. Make sure the directory to the location of your image file is pasted in "Upload my avatar" box. It should be something like "C:\My Documents\avatar.jpg".
    8. Scroll down to the end and hit "Save & Exit" button. This is a very important step. If you move to another page before hitting "Save & Exit", nothing will be saved.

    Hope this helps.

I will give it a try later.  I believe I used photobucket before.  Heck, how do I know?  I no longer have a brain!

    Thanks, Fumi. Smile

    it's not working for me.

i use imageshack to upload from pictures stored on my computer and it won't work.  when i hit insert nothing happens and the box just disappears.  do i HAVE to first upload what i want to post to photobucket and then upload it from there to here?

Don't you run a pop-up blocker on your computer? Or don't you set your browser settings to block pop-ups? Disable pop-up blocker so it should work. It has nothing to do with where you store images.

Here's the instructions on allowing popups.
