TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

I'm struggling with the new changes. I noticed that not too many avitars remain. That's rather distressing as it took me forever to get mine "up and going" in the first place. Maybe they will just magically reappear! :-)

They weren't able to port the avatars over. You will need to re-upload it in your profile. Sorry..

I want the little PM envelope back. Otherwise we don't know we have a PM until we check our email. They are doing a good job on fixing things though.

OK! This is good. The print in much larger so Im not squinting. I am having such anxiety I cant tell you. So Im glad to be here and not getting that silly lady without the hat.
Jan: Im here, Im here. I was making posts all over the place this morning. I see they have changed things back to pages instead of posts - thank the Lord. My statement to you from this morning was there is no way your leaving. No way - no day!
Brenda: I was bound and determined, no matter how long it took, and how many times I got the lady saying oops! to try and connect with all of you. But it was very hard this morning. So I missed MargaretB's name. I was thinking on my way home from work that I havent talked to her - this is the wedding week and she is off work.
Neese: Saw some really pretty dresses at dress barn again today. And not that expensive. I blew off work cause Im mad at them so I did a whole bunch of window shopping. Ahahaha it was fun.
Jasmine: I agree with you. Just diagnosed is way too far down on the list. Thats what new people usually go to first. Being here for over 2 years, I have learned to be patient. They will get things good again. Its just painful while they do it.
Rita: Pour yourself a glass of wine. We are all struggling right now. Yikes is all I can say. Go to your my home. Im not computer literate but I found it actually easy to post my avatar again. Dont ask me why though. I have to go back myself, as I checked something I shouldnt have and when I came home I have 23 unread emails. Posts from a my favorite thread which I dont even know what it is.
Liz: Im definitely missing the little flags. Even my DH will say do you have any flags today! Hey, at least I can get on and post. I wasnt able to 30 minutes ago.
Susan: I love your new avatar but I sure miss that smiling face.

Liz, I think they have a standard chart they use for patient portion stuff. I always just tell them No Thank you I won't be paying my portion at this time. Please just send me a bill.
Suz, praying for you sons eyes
Charlene, UHOH, wine should never be wasted.
Love the new avatar Susan.
Marsha have a great weekend.
Rita, no ones avatar survived. You have to upload it again.
Nicki, you got your name back. Yippee!!
Gotta talk to the bat guy, I'll be back.
-
OH that's so much better. You look maaaarvelous daaalin!
-
Shirley .. When I saw the wine flowing all over the walkway I would have cried if it wouldn't hurt my chest so much.
Suz .. I hope the first option with the contact lenses works out for your son.
Susan .. Your avatar is a little scary to me .. lol
Nicki .. glad you're back to Chemosabi!
Hey everyone there's a party at NoSurrenders web site .. come on over!
-
Sher - what they do is contact the insurance company and they estimate the percentage of what the total amount charged is. I don't pay anything either because my insurance company will not pay but the "approved" amount and therefore make my portion less than what the hospital says it is. What did the bat guy say?
Nicki - welcome back kiddo. It took me forever to get used to the Chemosabi after the nnn but I'm glad you have it back.
Char - Oh I haven't checked the party thread at Gina's for awhile - guess I'll go do that. As for wine with the meds - not that you asked but I vote no. Sorry sweetie.

So now I'm totally disgusted and I have to eat crow on top of that. GRRRRRRRRRRR!
Batguy said, yes you have bats. There are babies in the attic. The stupid things are a protected species. Sooooo there is absolutely nothing they can do until the babies learn to fly. And that is not until November when they migrate. Is that not the stupidest thing you have ever heard in your life????
He also said, we will charge you about $4000 for something you can do yourself. There is no respirator that will block out the spores from the bat poop. You just have to go up there after they've gone, block their entry points and clean out the mess.
Crap crap and crap some more. Literally. My stinkin attic is swimming in bat poop and I just have to deal with.
O well at least hubby is going to be happy. But come the first cold snap his ass is up in that attic or I'm vacating the premises.
UGH!!!!!!!
I am now officially having a bad day.
-
Protected Species ... whaaaa???? Oh Crap Shirley, that sucks Big time! Have to deal with it. Wow. That just sounds wrong. Hugs to you girlfriend.
-
Shirley, is there someone you can hire that will go into the attic to take care of the bat problem?
This is crazy.....bats are a protected species.....
-
Hello everyone,
Trying to be nice, I thanked BCO for the changes they had made, but also asked them not to forget the others that we have asked for. So, while waiting for the "Community Knowledgle Exchange" to go back to being a user friendly message board, I'm going out drinking. See you when I sober up (maybe)!!! Have a good night ladies/morning Peter. Talk to you later.

Wow this is so confusing i finally figured out how to get in here. let's hope I can remember how to do it next time!
Well yesterday my port line started looking red again and I haven't felt good for a few days. so i call the Onc's nurse and she calls back saying Dr just saw you on Friday and it looked good, she doesn't want to give you any more antibiotics right now.
Ok fine then at least can I have someone look at it so I can tell my family I followed up on it. So I go in after work and the nurse says well it looks ok to me and you don't have a temp! (I didn't have a temp last time either!) She say the Onc is there if I'd be happier I can have her look at it. She comes in takes a look and feels it and say "you sure do know your body" puts me back on I antibiotic and orders blood cultures from the arm and the port!
Been getting weak really quick and still trying to work. I came home early today and still put in a full weeks time! Thank goodness they've decided to hire a new gal. Hopefully she'll start Monday or Tuesday. I get to teach her my job! and they hope to hire another one in another week!
Really tired so am going to try to read back some and figure out what all has been going on.
-
Cherryl .. enjoying your drinking night out, haven't done that in forever!
CY .. It's great to see you here! Wow, I just don't know how you do it. You need to slow down, don't work so much. You're worrying me! I hope you get some good rest this weekend and feel better soon.
-
Cy - that sucks big pickles. I hope you feel better soon. Hugs
-
Hey Jaz we missed you I thought maybe Alice took you for a wild ride! Glad to see you again!
-
Ah thanks Cheryl. Ya never know where you will end up with that goofy gal. ROFLMAO!
-
B445, Thank God you know your body!!!!
Nicki, Yay! I didn't go back far enough to see your post. I can't leave my drinkin' bud! No way!
Jas, Thank you so much for all your help for the computer illiterates amongst us. And I am at the top of the list. If someone holds my hand, I can make it through, LOL!
Shirley, Bats are protected here also. They eat all the bad bugs, so they are very helpful. I know you would rather they go and be helpful in someone else's attic, but what can I say. The poop stinks and all, but they are good critters to have around.
Hugs all!

Sirley you need to have hubby build a bat house. It's kinda like a birdhouse. that way they will go there instead of your house.
I fgured out how to change my screen name back to b445. and I really like the fact that I can read it better, but man o live is it cumbersome to move around here
-
Hope all sisters had a fantastic Friday and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend.
Looks like a lot of improvements have been made to the site since I last logged on, starting to feel like home again.

Tired to read back but only got a few pages. sounds like our Cheri got good news! Lord knows she needed it! Now Cheri just remember you have a month to be getting back to walking on that foot. don't try to do too much too fast!
going to go look around some more.
Morning Peter!
-
O.K. I am going to try and copy and paste from my Internet Explorer email page. What the heck something has to work.
Peter-thank you so much for my giggle of the day. Do you need an rx or is it over the counter. LOL.
Vickie-You to girl. That guy beating his computer to death was just to funny. (Or was it the computer beating the guy to death)
Shirley-I think I would be up there teaching those things to fly. Maybe some dry ice would convince them it is winter.
O.K. it worked but all the lines came in together so I had to put spaces between each person. I would have wrote more but I wanted to make sure it would work.
Now I am going to push submit and move on to other threads and see how they are going.
O.K. I could not resist I had to click on the [Edit] thingy. It took forever to load but lets see if it works. Oh yeah, I forgot to sign because we never had to do that before.
