Crap, how does one delete duplicate posts??? I edited and erased the msg but I'd rather delete this stupid space waster!
-
i keep coming back...it's like looking at a train wreck...
if everyone hits the bold button before typing it makes it easier to read. I can barely see the posts...oh my.
Did we find the tech support phone number yet LOL!
-
Yes, Vickie...its 1-800-DIALAPRAYER! ROFL!
-
Thanks Jazz-dialing that number now.
Amy

I'm frustrated that I have to log in again every time I come. Even though you check "remember me" you still have to hit Log in and then click again - dumb!!!
I'm with Jas on this - apparently they didn't have "board users" help test this new format or some of this stuff would never have gotten Ok'd. Just nuts!! If I were Melissa and Tammy, I'd be ready to strangle the tech people.
Brenda
-
Okay, I know this is bad and I'm certainly not trying to downplay the aggravation here. But through all the years I've been posting on different boards on the internet, one thing I've learned...its the people who make the board. Let's try to muddle through this and hope they make some improvements. This really is still the best breast cancer support place in the world because it has the best people here.
-
You are correct Jaz. I'm so trying to stay positive about it.
Amy
-
Denise, ahahhahahahahah too late. Buggers already messing up the already crappy view.
Charlene, you did indeed say BAT and I do believe it was in reference to the O Dear Lady. Hubby is still pissed. Has barely said two words to me since wednesday night. Which aint necessarily a bad thing.
I figure here would be a good place to start World Domination Plan. Gotta start somewhere so lets start with the puter nerds who came up with this grand idea.
-
I love that avatar picture, Amy! That is so adorable to see a little donkey helping its goat friends get some leaves off a tree.
-
ok gotta go accomplish something. Have to clean my bedroom cause the bat guy is going in there this afternoon. Haven't been in there except to get my clothes since the darn things chased us out. Must keep up appearances you know. I'm sure there will be 200 new pages when I come back. I'll do my bestest to wade thru them all.

Hola chicas and Peter........................ok at work and the lighting is better here then at home but still hard to read what I'm typing..........is spell check on this thing now..........that is going to be my only salvation..........Amy good luck today.......I know you don't do the weekend thing but let us know something as soon as you can......oh and give Tucker a great big ole mommy kiss for us............Cheri so glad to hear you are on the mend...........I look forward to you being able to try and post your insightful comments.............Vickie1234 did you drop your numbers?.....I hope to get some time this weekend to play around on this system and figure some things out but if ya'll see smoke coming from North Texas then ya'll will know I just decided to burn the computer and am in my closet pouting.....................
.......oh phone brb......maybe......be back in a while when I find this page again.......
-
Morning everyone - woke up with a toothache and then the hospital called to tell me how much my portion is on the CT scan Monday. LOL Uh yes, I do think I want to arrange payments. I know they're wrong on it but can't do anything about it until the insurance is filed. Oh well life is such fun.
I wrote down the page number of where I was last night so I at least knew where to start this morning.
It's hot and humid here and I just don't even want to get out but I need to go to the grocery store.
Hang in there kiddos - we'll get through this.
Hugs
-
Thanks Jaz-Mazer is always willing to lend a helping hand.
Vickie I know the feeling,,lol.
Shirley-got a good laugh out of the dh not talking to you. so why is it exactly that he insist that the bats are ok. I guess I never thought about it but didnt know there was bat removal people. Batbusters!
-
Amy he's not insisting they are ok, just that he is capable of doing the job himself. In other words he doesn't want to put out the bucks for someone else to do it.....this from the man who hired someone to come TO OUR HOUSE to wash our cars once a week.
In my little pea brain the problem is simply I have decided the money needs to be spent and not him. If he wants something, hmmmm say a $50,000 car that we really can't afford, he gets it without question. I never argue with him about the money he spends because he makes a very good living and works very hard for the money he earns.
BUT I will not back down on things that I want either. In this case it is affecting my health. Not to mention we have had to vacate our bedroom. How stupid is that? Therefore our heads are bashing.
-
I have decided it is just a bit to cold this morning for housework. Think I'll hang around here for a while.
-
<throws an electric blanket over Shirl and hands her a cup of hot cocoa>
-
Sherloc are you in northern CA because I thought ya'll were in a mist of record highs.........I keep hearing about seniors dying because of the heat in CA.............of course maybe that was last month........I still am looking for my freaking cheese.........has Jan checked in this morning?????? She was one p.o. circle girl yesterday........
-
Just checking in to see if there have been any improvements. Our nice "Lady" keeps popping up....so I'll just say hello...
If I try to go back a few pages to read, I get a visit from the "Lady" and have to start over from the beginning....
Oh, I am editing this to say that I am using the term "Lady" in not the most favorable term.....
-
WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?
A VERY FRUSTRATED SURVIVOR!!!!!
-
holy smokes big letters but what pray tell is this list of pages???
Guess they really are working on it.
-
Well kewl beans...this means they are really working on getting things fixed. Way to go BCO!
-
Woohoo, it looks like we got our old page numbers back!!! Sorry for the tamtrum back there. I came in just as they must have been making the switch. It looked like a disaster for a moment. Thank you, thank you, thank you BC.org.
-
Madison that lady gets around. I have had visits from her all morning long. ok now I am typing and my font is bigger and I have done nothing to change it,,,hmmmm.
Shirley-ok got it! I dont blame you for not backing down one bit. This is your health afterall. I personally think its a job for a professional but what do I know?!? How dare you say you are cold,,pffffft,,come to Alabama.
Amy
-
omgosh....we wanted bigger fonts not smaller lol...
we must have pity on the tech support team...i am sure they are as ready for the looney bin as we are. be back later when i can see!!!
calling dial a prayer!!
-
Okay, looks like they have fixed:
The small type in the 'add a comment' box, good job! Nice and big.
They have lengthened the pages so there are more than 5 post on a page, good job!
-
thanks for the blankie and the chocolate jaz.
Shokk, I am in N California, but I'm in the mountains. We are hotter than hades during the day and cool down at night. Temp gauge says 65 right now. Too cold for my skimpy jammies. time to dig out the flannel.
-
Shokk if I find out anything I will check in and let everyone know. Lets just think positive and keep the fears of canceritis at bay.
Amy
-
and did you notice were back to the normal number of pages. A very good thing. Thanks powers that be.
-
For those who didn't see, NoSurrender has set up a temporary forum site to chat until things improve here. Its nice and pretty easy to navigate.
