yikes...can't figure out the picture thing. Must have a few bugs they need to work out.
thanks Liz...I'll remember that.
Hey Jas...yup...guess i'm old now.
Good morning Peter!
Gina...I want a puppy too...shall we make a road trip together?
this font is too stinkin small...can't see what I'm typing...shheeessshhhh

coffee and wine won't change the confusion here ... there are defintely some usability enhancements needed w/ this new software.
If you want to get your old screen name back you can get it back ... you need to email them - I'll copy in info from one of the posts that I saw. They used our login name ... not the screen name ... I had no idea that I even had two ...
i wish they would have created a prototype and let us do some testing of it prior to the mass migration to the new software.

Oh my goodness,
I don't know if I like this new forum style......
How is everyone?
Hummm......do you think wine will help me get the "hang" of this new style.....
-
I'm still confused but slowly catching on. I don't like the small pages as I have to keep starting from a few pages back to see what everyone has said. I know they say change is good. Well guess what? I'm old, I'll never figure out who is who now that the names are different. Oh well. I think I'll go to the liquor store. LOL

here's the info ....
First off, answers to many questions can probably be found if you click the "Help" link up top. (I haven't tried this yet so don't know if it will help with the confusing new software or not...)
On login name vs. display name... these have been collapsed to one "user name" field. There are two main reasons for this: 1. new users and folks who only came back occasionally got really tripped up by this, and often didn't remember the login name. 2. The chat rooms are ONLY able to use the login name for authentication... and displayed them publicly there. There is currently no way to edit your user name directly. If you would like your user name changed (for example, back to your old display name), please send a Private Message to bco_admin3 with whatever you would like as a new user name.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I want the page numbers back. Were supposed to read back a days worth of posts two at a time? UGH!!!!!
Vicki, I think those are the post numbers. Not pages.
Shirley also know as Sherloc

Well, I just lost a post to the "new and improved" cyber monster...
Liz, wait for me, I want to go to the liquor store also
Okay, I just found my post.....this calls for an entire bottle of wine
-
You need a freakin' magnifying glass to read what you're typing!
Hello everyone! Karl took Audrey to soccer and he's bringing wine home for me ... hallelulah, gonna need it tonight for sure!
Has anybody heard from Cheri?
-
I dunno...looks like a 'kegger' party to me....:)
-
OK I still cant figure out how to do photes. What is Image URL and Image Description?
NS: Nickii was my chat name. It would have been weird if it really came back Nicki.nnn as that was my very first original name. Then they changed the chat and I lost the nnn.
Liz: Liz: You must be exhasuted! Life is really crazy. We whine and complain about how fat we are and how we want to lose wt. Then when we lose it, it scares us. I know you are going to be ok, just hate to see you going through all of this stuff and now more tests. Hugs to you.
Charlene: Please send me a pm and tell me how to post pics.
Shokk: Arrrghhh! Im going absolutely crazy.
Madison: Ya Whooooo! Are you ready for some football? Saints and Colts tonight!! Good luck with those Saints.
Good Night everyone. Will try to figure it out more in the morning.
-
Where's Marsha? I need the tequilla shots that she brings to our parties!
-
Thanks Nicki - I know it will all be fine.
I lost my feet avatar. Crap - now I have to figure out how I did that.
Jas - I agree - it's going to be one heck of a kegger!

POSTING PICTURES:
The icon to the left of the smiley face that looks like a picture of a tree (it's so freakin small I can't be sure) is what you click on to post pictures. Just paste the link (using Direct Link from photobucket) into the Image URL in the box that opens after you click on the tree image icon. Then click insert. Good luck!
NOTE: I ignore the description and dimensions boxes. Not sure what happens if that is filled in.

I hope this is enough kegs .....
