Hi cathy! I was diagnosed with bc and bone mets in February 2006. I am er/pr+ and Her2 neg. That would make me a 19 month survivor.(probably much longer than that because the lump was discovered in Sept 2005 and I had pain likely caused by the bone mets for years before that!) So far, I have had a mastectomy, vertebraplasty (surgery to fix a spinal fracture) and limited radiation to my spine and pelvis. I take the anti-hormonals ZOLADEX (to supress ovulation), ARIMIDEX (controls estrogen), and ZOMETA (a bone strengthener). All in all, my treatments haven't been too hard.

If you are looking for er/pr- and her2-, there is a "triple negative" section on this website. the "recurrence and metastatic disease" area is very helpful.

Please post whenever you feel the need. There are lots of great people here on the boards willing to provide whatever support and information they can!

    (((hugs))) to you!

    Hi Badboob and sloandeb,

I was diagnosed with idc in June. Grade 2, 2cm tumor, er+/pr+, her2 neg, and will be starting tamoxifen. I do not have bone mets, but I am scared to death that I may have a recurrance.

I hope you do not mind me asking what stage and grade were you at your original diagnosis?

    Debbie

    P.S. Had mastectomy and reconstruction.
