Today is my 3 year cancerversary.
I don't need to talk about my long hair or my great breasts, or how far I've come...
Instead, there is something much more important to talk about. I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for my sisters here. Through good times, and lots of bad, you girls have been here for me at the drop of a hat.
Whether I hadn't pooped in a week from chemo, or didn't know if I would make it to see 30, you girls were always my pillar of strength.
We've laughed together, and shed many tears together-- and I've never seen 90% of you face to face. No matter the different walks of life we come from, or the different beliefs we stand behind, when push comes to shove, I know the sisterhood will always have my back.
I just want to say thank you. Although it could never truly be enough. To all of the sisters that came before me and showed me the way, to the new members that allow me to help them whenever I can, I am truly grateful to be part of this elite group.
I love you all so much. 3 years, and my 30th birthday is right around the corner...this year, there is nothing more that I wish for than good health for all of us.

Beth, you are a dear. I've noticed that you are always on the spot to answer questions. So many questions. I am sure I speak for all of us out "here" when I say that we thank YOU.
It's nice to know someone cares about you, even if you have never met them in person.
So sorry you had to be burdened with a serious illness at such a young age. Makes you grow up faster than you might want.
Take care, sweetie.

You have been a gift to all here. Your wisdom and humor have saved many a day and many a tear. Congratulations! you will have many many more triples to celebrate.

Beth, has it really been three years? Wow, i remember your early posts with your "I play to win" tag line. I remember one in particular that was long and talked about being her2+ and all the things you were doing to fight back and I was so impressed with your spirit. Plus, I know I wouldn't have the guts to show my boobs in a national magazine.
So, good for you. What are you going to do to celebrate? -
Beth...YOU ARE ONE AWESOME CHICK and have been here for me since Day One! And I'm sure you've given a lot more than you've received!
I truly wish you a bajillion more celebrations on your journey....YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!

I am one of the lucky ones. I have met you.
Beth, it is YOU who should be thanked.
Your compassion and capacity for caring and giving is a gift to any woman who has ever had BC, may have BC, or is just scared of BC.
I wish all of the sisters here could meet you because in real life, you are even more amazing than your wonderfully written words. AND you are also funny as hell.
Congratulations on your THREE YEAR MARK.
This is HUGE baby.
Love you,
g -
Way to go!! Three years is great!!! Many, many happy more!!
Miss S -
I remember the first time I "met" you was in chat. We had to differentiate so you said you would be "baby beth" and I would be "xmas beth". Thank you for so many answers to questions and encouragement. You may not realize just how many lives you have touched but we are better off because of your compassion and wisdom.
-
Congratulations! You KNOW you thought you'd never feel this great again and look at you now! Everyone who has met you says wonderful things about you and those who haven't adore you as well.
Wishing you peace and health! And have tons of fun on your birthday! -

I wish you many many more and I love reading your posts.

Beth, I remember the early days of reading your posts when I was first diagnosed and thinking how inspirational and full of wisdom you were then. You are always there to help others. Congratulations on your cancerversary and oh to be 30 again.
Margaret -
Congratulations Beth!! I'm 20 years older than you, old enough to be your mom. You have acquired so much more wisdom and life at such a young age than I have at almost 50. You are an inspiration to all.

Hey little sis -
Can you believe it's been 3 years?? We started this journey about the same time and I can't believe 3 years have passed.
I would have never thought I'd make so many connections and friends through the Internet, but as you mentioned, we are an elite group. Always there for each other and watching each other's back.
Congrats on 3 years. Can't wait for our 5 year cancerversary ...our 10 year...20.....etc
Hugs,
Donna -
