Hi Everyone,

I have only posted on the board a few times in the past. Once was to give some encouragement to someone that had just been diagnosed.

I wanted to share some GOOD news today. I just went in for my 2 year post diagnosis mammogram and all is clear. I was so scared right before I went in and then so happy when they gave me the good news! I don't have to go back for a year now (vs. previously every six months).

I try and live every day to the fullest - this thing has really changed my life - both bad and good. I try and focus on the good and shove away the bad.

My very best wishes for all of us out there. We truly are an amazing group of people!!

Happy 2 years and may the 3rd be wonderful!

    Hi Gorilla 12
What wonderful news. There's almost no better feeling for all of than going for a mammogram and getting good results, great results. Now you feel that heavy weight of worrying off your shoulders and you deserve to go out and celebrate. Every smile has its added value !

Gorilla12, I just wanted to say "Congratulations" girl on the GREAT NEWS! I always love coming to this board and finding posts like yours. Good news equals happy people...which is a wonderful thing. There is so much anxiety BEFORE the mammo...and what a MAJOR relief when you get the all clear. So enjoy...you can breath again. Celebrate a bit. I think most all here knows what it feels like to get through another mammo, scan, PET/ct, ect. I'm so happy for you.
