I have to tell you my funny. I have been having some weird sensations with my lungs lately and have been pushing to get a chest xray.
As I was on the phone with the PS's nurse, I told her in exasperation, "Bottom line is that I am afraid I am dealing with mets to my lungs," and she very matter-of-factly said, "Oh, the mammo would show that," and I said, "Really?!?!" and she said, "Oh yeah, the mammo would tell us if the implant has meshed to your lungs!" HA!
Like I said, funny but not so funny.
Love and prayers, Deb

OMG! Too funny Deb ... meshed to your lungs? Like that's a regular occurence? Did you correct her?

I think your PS's "nurse" needs an anatomy lesson!!!! Oh my hope it gave you a giggle in the middle of all the stress.

Wow, that would really be serious. Imagine what gyrations you must have done to get the implant to smoosh through your rib cage all the way to your lungs and then for them to actually get a clear view of your meshed lungs on a mammogram!
I think I would RUN to a new doctor. -
It's terrible, because it is SO not a good depiction of my PS. He is actually an amazing doc, and I would trust him with my absolute life. Michelle, the "nurse" used to be his scheduler. I just always assumed she was a clerical person, but when I called that day to talk to "one of his nurses," I was told it was Michelle. I was like, "no, not the scheduler, a NURSE." The secretary was like, "Oh, Michelle is on the floor now!"
AlwaysHope, that is hilariously funny. I told my hubby the same thing practically-even I know that is IMPOSSIBLE for my body or implant to do!
Love and prayers, Deb
