How many retro toys do you remember??

Cabbage Patch dolls...I see they are coming back to life again....as well as Strawberry Shortcake...

I remember going to grandmas house and always playing the game Cootie, where you build a bug....loved it!!! I even have the one we played with...when dad asked me what I would like for keepsakes of grandmas my list consisted of "my cookie jar", the cooties game, a set of her crochet needles and some other minor things....

The cookie jar story: My grandmother started it as a tradition in our family before I was even born....each of us grandkids had our own cookie jar at her house and she kept them filled with our most favorite cookies ....Mine is a McCoy red apple cookie jar that I proudly display in my china closet .....

The other thing I remember loving along with my pogo stick was one of those balls with the handle that you bounce on and a thing that had a circle that went around your ankle and a rope (or something) attatched to a bell shaped thing....you put the circle around your ankle, got it swinging and kind of skipped the rope.

And I remember loving chinese jump rope.....

Oh and last but not least!!!!!

The Hoola Hoop!!! Cant even begin to tell you how many hours that was played with!!!!

I had a Betsy Mc Call doll. Mc Call magazine had paper doll in every issue.
