    Hi Nagem.
I have been using John Freida Hair Glaze. It contains no peroxide or ammonia. It comes in Platinum, Amber to Maple, Brown and Dark Brunette shades. My hair came back silver. I used the Amber to Maple shade. It turned my hair blond. Now I use the Platinum shade. I like the results and it does not harm my hair. Hope this helps.

Thank you. Is it permanent or semi?

    Hi there.

Where do you get it?? I will probably need it, since I believe that after I lose my hair, it will come back white... sigh...

    Thanks

    Hi,
You can find John Freida Color Glaze at Target, Walgreens, Longs and probably most chain drugstores. I think it runs about $8.00 a bottle. I apply once a week. It can be messy so buy some disposable gloves to apply. There is no ammonia or peroxide. Hope this helps.

    Thanks, Debbie!

I will be looking for something that is as natural as I can find. Maybe there really isn't anything like that. I don't know.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Ive got a hair appt tomorrow Sat for a cut as i havent cut it since the beginning being bald...well i had it trimmed up of all the goofy ends, and now its almost shoulder lengh, and ALL my own color, when it first came in it was silver and within time it turned back to my real color of dark blonde ...I wanted to have like highlites very lightly, but the chemo really put alot of thinning on the top and part of me says "just have it trimmed to see how it looks before you do anyting else" which makes sence,as there are highlites really in it..and Im one anymore who hates to keep going back for touchups, as my hair grows so fast..any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks
    Ter

Ter...If you trust your hairdresser, why not ask him/her what they think about how your hair would hold up with highlights? It sounds like the color is pretty enough to stick with what you have naturally though...I think if I were you, I'd get a really nice cut and save the color question for the future. I have lots of highlights and need touch-ups every 6 weeks. It's very expensive!

I have been using henna + indigo to color my hair brunette.  I buy only the body art quality henna.  There are very good instructions here and they sell it too. www.mehandi.com  I like the results and my hair is in very good condition.
