So many have asked to see pictures of our daughters wedding so will share here. I sewed all of our dresses, and am very thankful the day went beautifully and now it is time to move on to other things. My two sisters also helped me and we did all of the flowers.

Forgot to mention, I sewed over 1700 Swarovski crystals on her wedding gown along with thousands of other beads!
Enjoy!

what a beautiful family ... you must be soooooo proud!!!
Thank you for sharing the photos!!!
I think you should take a well deserved break....
Doreen -
You deserve a break!
Everybody looks lovely -- you too!
I've been to a couple of weddings lately and I think those are the most flattering dresses that I've seen. I'm quite taken with the necklines. Did the train button or zip off so the bride could move around afterward without messing the hem up?
The view from the back is a wonder.
I am in awe! -
I did a French bustle on the train. It worked very well and looked just as good as when the train was down.
-
I JUST CANNOT BELIEVE HOW GORGEOUS THIS WHOLE THING IS!!!!
FABULOUS......
WOW, what a lucky girl and you too. To be able to do this lovely dress and all for your own girl.
God bless you and keep you safe, our dear dressmaker.
Love, Shirlann -
I am ALMOST speechless. I cannot imagine the hours you put into making all these gorgeous dresses. It was hard enough just looking for dresses!
Vicky, you have an amazing talent. The ladies are so right. Your daughter is so lucky. Hope you don't have two or three of them. LOL
I am so glad your daughter's day went so well (a little thanks to her mom perhaps ).

Your daughter is a vision in her gown and the brides maids and flower girl are also exquisite in their gowns. Everyone must have been on cloud nine that day.
The pictures are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

YES! I AM YELLING!! -
Well, I have seen some lovely dresses, but these are SOOOO beautiful.
Sewing is one of my passions, but I don't think I'd take on this lot !!! maybe I 'd have a go at one !!! then I'd probably not get it finished.
I am in the process of making 9 pairs of curtains, I have had them all cut out since mid July, and I only have 1 pair completed. I'm easily distracted !!
You really have a great talent.
Isabella. -
Beautiful!!!! Simply.

Vicki, I'm sitting here totally amazed. You did ALL the dresses - they are just beautiful. I cannot begin to imagine the hours that you put into the dresses and other duties required of mothers at the time of weddings. I'm sure seeing this beautiful wedding unfold brought much joy and some tears. You have a beautiful daughter and family. Thank you for sharing. What a wonderful talent you were given.

A talent is exactly what it is. No one ever taught me to sew. I could just do it. I started making Barbie doll clothes for all my friends when I was very young.
One day when I was working on the wedding gown I sat and I cried and asked God why he took this all away from me. To think I used to sew 50 weddings in a year and now it took me 9 months to get just this one group of dresses done.
i know that I can never go back to doing what I did but I am blessed that I was given the chance to make my daughter's dresses and hope I can do the same for my younger daughter when the time comes.
These pictures don't show the front of the dress where all the work was. The crystals and the beads were absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks so much for all your compliments, it really means alot to me!! -
OMG- if I ever get married again, I am calling you!!!
Gorgeous dresses! -
"These pictures don't show the front of the dress where all the work was. The crystals and the beads were absolutely gorgeous."
But, Oh!Vicky! The work on the backs of the dresses was fantastic! Those gathers! They look like beautiful roses!
And the way the skirts fall, because of them!
LOL Christine. This was the first thing I've seen that made me even want to CONSIDER getting married again -
Beautiful.and more beautiful. Can't believe it ONLY took you 9 months. You had nothing taken away from you.
