I'm sorry to hear your bad news. I feel like we're in the same boat. I just found out yesterday that my mom has breast cancer and she is fixing to turn 45 next week. My dad's mom died in 1986 from it. I was six and I have always been afraid that my kids would grow up without a grandmother. How many more family members is this going to affect? It's good to ramble on, get it off your chest.

Thanks Ladies
My mom was 32 when she passed away. I hate to see my aunt go through this. -
Sorry for your new Marhaz, ramble all you want. That's why we're all here at one time or another. Have you had the genetic test done? I hope you seriously consider it.
Best wishes.

No My aunts won't have it done and because my mom's gone they won't let me have it done.

My gosh, Marhaz 4, how awful. This disease sucks big time! Seems it just keeps on attacking. I wish someone would find a damn cure. You're right this is freaking insane. So many women, young, middle age, senior are getting it, it blows my mind. We want a cure! All we want is a freaking cure! Sorry, i just lost my mom to bc and I guess I'm in the "angry" stage of grieving. I'm just not sure who to be angry at. D.

Hi I have an aunt who are suffering with breast cancer stage 4. She and her husband doesnt have a child. they are in the u.s while we are here in asia. We are now preparing to be with her soon. Dealing with B.C is surely hard for both of them. My aunt i s 62 yrs old. Can u help us what to do to help her. we are confse right now what to do. any advise?

Toinette: The number one thing is to continue to love her, and her family. Allow her to do the things she can do. Don't try to do everyting for her. She needs to feel like she can still function (and she can). Don't think you have to say the right things. Sometimes not saying anything is best.
