Have really gone off now not content with crying, lost my rag & spit my dummy out last night .Since last Sept we've had my husband with prostate cancer & then this June me with breast cancer, plus his sister pestering him about her rent going up .At the moment am desperately trying to get an appointment to see the oncologist & husband goes for his PSA test next week. Yes you've guessed it his sister rang last night wailing about someone coming to mediate about her rent, wants him to go with her to see them. I completely lost it & said things best left unsaid & the worst of it is they were all true so even more hurtful She heard me say b****r her rent haven't we got enough to cope with & isn't she a grown woman. Am not usually prone to this appalling behaviour & do wonder if they removed my tact & common sense along with my tumour. The sad thing is we don't really get on too well anyway & this year was the first time she's sent me a birthday card in 20 yrs so things were looking up until I opened my big mouth.Whatever's happening to me

She got on your last nerve. I believe we have a bucket and when it's full it will spill over.
Said another way, when I run out of nice, that's all there is folks. And I can expend my nice when I am under extreme stress, illness, family illness, weary, whatever that sucks my nice from me and does not allow me time to replace it.
I need rest and peace to store up my nice.
So, Honey, don't feel bad. You are doing ok, My dh had prostate ca last summer and his blood work is going up, he also had ca of the larnyx last Nov. Merry Christmas.
Hang in there. (My sister in law didn't even ask how he's doing when I saw her last month!) -
Maybe you could email this quote to her:
"One of life's best coping mechanisms is to know the difference between an inconvenience and a problem. If you break your neck, if you have nothing to eat, if your house is on fire - then you've got a problem. Everything else is an inconvenience. Life is inconvenient. Life is lumpy. A lump in the oatmeal, a lump in the throat and a lump in the breast are not the same kind of lump. One needs to learn the difference."
Robert Fulghum -
we ALL lose it at some time in our lives. It does sound like you are upset tho', so maybe you could call her? If it really bothers you, can try apologizing, if you don't think she'll take one, just call her and don't say anything about your blow out, just ask her how she's making out with the rent issues.
I hope it gets better for you. -
hugs
