Wow It's been a year since I was told this nasty critter has come back to visit. It's been a hard year with 2 surgery's, chemo and rads but I've made it this far bring on my new life.

Have just got back into my Tramping (Hiking) and went for a 4 hr hike into the hills near me on Sunday, got up into the snow, it was wonderful.
Life is looking great at the moment, long may it stay this way!!

Four hour hike!? Wow, you go girl. That sounds fantastic.
It always nice to hear someone just say - hey, I'm feeling good!

My mom has just begun her second fight with the beast after being cancer free for 10 years. But she'll get there again - you ladies aren't called survivors for nothing!

    God Bless,
    Sue

Congrats to Raine and RubyTuesday, I love hearing good news.

Sue I'm sorry your mom has just begun her second fight, I am doing that right now, halfway thru my chemo but you are right she'll get there again.
After 10 years cancer free wow.
Hope she gets thru her treatments as well as she can and good luck to her.

I love hearing about adventures other women take during treatments. It renews my feelings that we are living with cancer, not just surviving with cancer. I recently went swimming abd tubing in natural springs here in Florida. It was wonderfully refreshing!

All right girl!! I am just coming into two years from my second BC diagnosis and also went on a 4 hour hike today and then to salsa tonight. I am taking salsa two nights a week now. It is fun.

So, there is life after BC two times around.

I have to say tho I am one of the lucky ones who does not have mets.

My mother now has mets to the lungs after 24 years from the first BC.

    Hi sierrasusie

Congrats on the 2 yr mark.  I also don't have any mets so am thankfull can get on with my life with no medications to take.

Am really enjoying my life at present and have been on 4 hikes in the last week ranging from 3 to 7 hrs.  the salsa sounds fun, but I've got 2 left feet.Laughing

Do hope your mom is doing ok must be hard after such a long time being ned?
