Nausea due to Arimidex?

I have been on Arimidex since mid February. Up until recently I had terrible pain in my ankles and wrists - so much so that I needed a crutch for the first 10 minutes after getting up each morning - but I could handle it because it would eventually work itself out. However, now I have been getting nauseus and was told that could be from the Arimidex also. I felt like I was back on chemo. The doctor suggested I go off Arimidex for a week or so to see what would happen. Well - after just 3 days, the nausea is beginning to go away but the best thing is that my joint pain has almost totally disappeared. I feel like a new person and am dreading having to go back on.

Has anyone else experienced the nausea?

    Hi there:
I am on aromasin and I have had that dang nausea. You do feel like you are on chemo. Mine just sort of went though. I am sooooo thankful for this.

    Good luck

I've been on Arimidex for one week and have neoropathy in my finger tips, mild be bone pain, and nausea. I'm ignoring the nausea ( easy weight loss), taking Claritin for bone pain, and calling my MO about the neoropathy because it's a resurgence of what I had on colon cancer chemo. I do not wish to be debilitated by one side effect when there are so many other drugs.
