Mom's 3 month appointment

My mom had her 3 month scans and follow up appointment with the oncologist today. It seems that the cancer that is a stage IV and mets to bones and lungs, is approximately 70% gone. To me this is absolutely amazing. She is not on chemo, rather she is using Arimidex. She also had 7 weeks of radiation treatments. She is really doing well and I am thrilled. I appreciate so much all of the people who told me that Stage IV was not a death sentence. It kept me optimistic.
