another course in my journey

My dx was made in August 06, mast Sept 06, 1st recon 1/8; 2nd for symetry 6/4; 6/24 removed becauese of infection.

I can't help but think I did something wrong. Maybe I should have settled for the implant that didn't really match (1/8).. I Just cant see me as a 45 year old woman with an active sex life settling for feeling good about myself without a right breast. My husband has beeen unbelievly (sp) about every step--and keeps saying that anything , setback wise, is better than cancer.

I know he is right, but i still feel disfigured, undesirable, and not sure how I will do in the next 3 months--till the latismus is done.

Those of you that have had the latismus done---how did it co?

Am I getting worked up over nothing?

Any advice will be apprecieated.
