Herceptin in Europe

I have been off Herceptin about 6 weeks now after having it for 9 months, due to a drop in ejection fraction. My onc just called to tell me that it went back up, but he had no strong feelings one way or another as to whether I should continue and finish up my one year. He said that the standard treatment in Europe is now less than a year, but is still 1 year here in the USA. He's leaving it up to me to decide. Anyone here know anything about the length of time they are giving Herceptin in Europe? Thanks!

    Don't know about Europe, but I've been on Herceptin since Jan 2004. So far so good on heart issues. I have echo every six months. Did weekly treatment until late 2005 and since then every three weeks. Sorry to hear you are having probs with it. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers,
