Where is WTH?

Let's get back to Weeds. I love that show. Did anyone here smoke pot to get thru chemo? I tried it and it didn't help much. Someone suggested making brownies with it - but that was too much work.
My kids were shocked that grandma would try it. I had to remind them that I was a child of the sixties. -
cheri, darling I always count you in.Especially if there are backhoes and fun involved.Speaking of backhoes is your ankle healed yet?
I think one of the names was poobah?wish they had left those alone.
My favorite tv show is king of the hill.I own all the dvd's.Wonder what that says of my mentality?? -
robin, I watched a couple episodes of King fo the Hill just to see what the fuss is about. It si funny. Not politically correct all the time, but funny. That is what we need, laughter. I just had a very bad convrsation with my dh's evil ex (sorry to borrow from your words) and I hate to leave my cell phone on for the repercussions. I will tell later if I live through this.
My favorite show is Friends. I don't know why. I could wathc it every day. I also liked Sex in the City. I admit it, I used to watch the Simpsons. Nicki, save me seat for the premiere.
Speaking of movies, I saw Bruce Willis in an interview. He made the first Die Hard at 32, 20 years ago. Wonder what the name of his ps is in Beverly Hills? He says he takes Vitamin c and drinks OJ and stays away from matches (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). If that's his secret to looking good, dh should look so good too! Maybe its the personal trainer we lack here!
Later, gals. Can't wait for Mena to sink her teeth into these threads again! We will have so much fun! -
I think I barely got out of "newbie" when the names were changed to "member."
Beth, I am also a Simpson's fan. When I was working at the Doylestown Intelligencer and living in North Philly, I remember racing home like a maniac so I could catch the opening of Simpson's to see what Bart had written on the chalk board. Sad I had no life back then...
About the loss of the WTH? and PH threads: My personal theory is that the moderators log on about every six to seven days - cause that's how long the deleted threads have been lasting. We're all marked women - as they're probably expecting us to f - I mean goof up, so mind your p's and q's or we'll have to start all over again!! I'm used to threads I like getting deleted now - just like my favorite tv shows and off-beat products in the supermarket: if I like it, chances are it will soon go the way of the dinosaur. So, in the immortal words of Forrest Gump: "And that's all I'm gonna say about that."
- Felicity -
I think one of the names was veteran too.
But whats in a name? Feilcity, bethany...lol
and speaking of the simpsons, I can't wait for the movie...
maybe we should take a poll, on how long the threads will last before they get deleted.
MENA- good to see you sister. I know peeing in your pants isn't funny, especially before you have to walk out the door to get to the dr, but it's good that you're laughing. -
Okay, now I'm confused....are you Felicia or Felicity???
-
I've also been called Kiai on the boards (see signature below). None of them are my REAL name. I could tell you what it is, but then I'd have to go back into witness protection program...
-
LOL...no worries. Just wondering if I had missed something.
-
And nobody's yet mentioned the obvious: Paris was sprung last night!
-
OMG-- my favorite bff paris... LOLOL
she sprung from jail looking like she just got back from vacation- with her bronzer powder, light mascara, and clear lipgloss...
tee hee
I truly hope she is done with her patying ways.
She can get her Probation reduced if she does a PSA.... I can't wait for that one. -
ahh....the world is good again PH will go home to party with brittney & nicole again. Maybe they will pay a driver next time, what a concept! LOL
-
Beth I thought the same thing when I saw her picture of her leaving jail. My gosh, crazy I tell ya, just crazy.
Amy -
Beth you may borrow my words whenever you like.
Anytime you feel like talking give me a call ok.We got lots to catch up on. -
Beth: Ok what is a PSA lol. I only know it as a test for the prostate.
Her release was all over the news, but I didnt get a chance to see any of it. DH kept changing the channel.
Badboob: I get all my pictures from photobucket. I just type in a thought and find the craziest things.
Nicki -
Put me down for Family Guy...love the quick witted almost sick sense of writing.
Did anyone watch Jericho? Loved it and am so glad it's back on this fall. Maybe there is some promise when people do stand up for what they want. Love it
Was that Tinkerbell I saw hopping a train out of CA?? -
Felicia!!! Do not even tell me that you worked for the Intell!!! I used to live right outside Doylestown. My boys went to CB East and played football! How funny is that? Small world!
I saw Paris coming out of jail, and I don't think she looked much like she was a "changed" person. -
I bet her suntanning salon made a special trip out to see her today so when she goes out and parties, she will have that California glow instead of being white like the rest of us worker bees!!
-
Oh, how I would LOVE for Larry's show to have the Lowest ratings in it's history!
-
Public Service Announcement! Ahahahahaha well go figure. In my world PSA in a blood test for prostate cancer.
Dotti, I agree - I hope the rating on Larry King were very low.
Tgirl: I loved Jericho! Cant wait for it to return also. But then Im a weird one. I liked Sopranos and Deadwood too.
Nicki -
Nah Dotti -- I'm gonna be watching it. Its like a wreck on the side of the road -- you know you shouldn't stop to look but you just can't help it. I was the same with the Anna Nicole saga. But I'm also a soapnet junkie too,so....
-
My sympathies to Tinkerbell.
-
So who watches Nancy Grace? Did you see she has been secretly married and is now pregnant with twins. What's up with telling the world before the employer???
LuAnn -
Nicki...I emailed CBS on a daily basis. Didn't ship the nuts though.
-
Hey, Jan...
My stint at the Intel was '89-'91 I think. I shot lots and lots of football, so if your boys were playing then - even if it was Pop Warner - I probably took their photo, lol. I miss the Philly area quite a bit...
OK, fess up: Who's gonna try to catch Paris on Larry King tonight? -
Fessing up, not sure still. Curiosity will probably get me if I even remember that she's on.
Another fess up: Did anyone watch that new reality show "Age of Love" where 21 - 48 year olds compete for the attention of an Australian tennis star?? My DH and I watched. -
raises hand and proudly admits!
-
I won't, I don't even know what time he comes on tv. I will catch the good parts in the media frenzy after the fact. I just can't imagine her having anything to say for a whole interview about this.
-
Honestly, I'd rather watch the grass grow! lol
-
-
I love USweekly and they decided not have anything about PH this week - I guess they don't want to reinforce the behavior...I still kind of like her though..I have to admit I laugh when she says funny things
