hi ladies
I am travelling to mississagua in the summer for 6 weeks to visit my best friend in the world. I was wondering if any one knows of any charity runs like race for life... would love to take part in one with my friend, she has been such a support to me.

    My best suggestion is for you to ask your friend to check with the Canadian Cancer Society for dates and locations of events being held in her area for the time you'll be visiting. Best of Luck

    I don't know of any races in the area, but I watched your video and I want to tell you how much I enjoyed it. Great idea and great messages.

    The two "big" runs/walks in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) are held in the fall; one is sponsored by the CIBC bank, the other is the Weekend to End Breast Cancer which supports the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. Relay for Life is usually held in June. You can contact the Ontario division of the Canadian Cancer Society for further information.

    There are likely people in "weekend to end Breast Cancer" walk (held in Sept.) who will be holding fundraising events around Mississauga - maybe you will be able to support them in some way.
