Possible round two...SO scared...

Options

Last May I was diagnosed with Stage 1 IDC. Had lumpectomy, did 8 rounds of chemo, 37 rads, and taking Tamoxifen. Just finished rads in January this year and finally have hair again. I am now 36, 35 at time of diagnosis. Had my one year mammo and ultrasound yesterday and got a call this morning that I need to go back for a spot compression view and ultrasound on the GOOD boob. I am terrified that I am going to have to go through that all over again. Anyone else have the spot compression view for what turned out to be nothing?? Please let there be someone!!

hi, you may already know this, but because you are so young, you may have dense breasts, leading to making it hard to read a mammogram. this alone can lead to further testing, and this may be what is happening. because of the density issue, I now have yearly breast mri's along with the mammograms. this gives me much more peace of mind. so sorry you are having to deal with this, I hope you get your answers quickly and all is fine. best, Pat
ps, I was born and grew up in Boulder City, NV.
