On Sunday, I completed the National Capital Marathon (42.2 K) - my 1st ever in my life. Slow, for sure - but steady the whole way (around 5 hours).
It was so exciting and so much fun.
I'm not looking for pats on the back - just wanted to put it out there, that "I did it!" at age 51 - 4 years post dx - 6 months of CEF and 30 rads later.....
I hope everyone in treatment is able to resume their lives and discover a new passion.

Way to go Janet! NOT LOOKING FOR PATS ON THE BACK! Why not...........you certainly deserve them. Congrats on a huge accomplishment.

You DO deserve pats on the back!!! My sister does that race every year so I know it's hard enough to do without health concerns. Congratulations!
