can someone re post this for me please?

my daughter is going to WW and doing fantastic.

she is really taking it seriously, but misses having the odd "real" desert!

i can't seem to find the old posts with the recipe ...... i know it's pretty simple, but while i'm a great 'cook' ....... i'm a terrible baker!

thanks guys!

shel (on behalf of mackenzie who is down 8 lbs in 2 weeks!)

Here Shel, I did a quick search on Recipe Zaar and this one came up with lots of variations. Not sure if it's the same as the one previously posted or not.

Have you seen the email about diet soda turning into formaldehyde when it's heated? Not really good for you. I never use diet soda to do these cakes. Just a risk I don't want to take. Sorry. Ronda

I'm not a fan of artificial sweeteners, and "diet soda cake" doesn't fit my definition of healthy food, but according to snopes.com, the email referred to above is a hoax.

I'm highly skeptical of all mass emails and they almost always check out to be untrue.

You can also use ginger ale or 7Up (regular or diet) and probably any carbonized clear drink (don't use dark sodas like coke and pepsi) instead of milk in pancakes. It makes them light and fluffy and very good.

This sounds wonderful--I was wondering if anyone on this list is going to abstain from aspartame in light of the new findings that it has been found to cause cancer in lab rats? I heard it on TV and saw it on the Yahoo health link.
