Skip the deoderant and bra for a while. Just go commando.
The deoderant can get into the suture line and you don't want that. the bra can dig into the suture line, too and since you are probably swollen will probably be too tight anyway. This is if you have only had a SNB, not a mast or lump.
    God bless you, too!

I was told to wear a good support bra for about 3 or 4 days, even when sleeping. Personally, I don't think I could have went without a bra. The good support bra really helped. Deodorant was okay to use. Terri

my surgeon told me to wear a sports bra or tight tank top. The compression cut down on the fluid collection under the incision. I had a lumpectomy (well, 1/4 of breast removed) and a SNB, I didn't have any drains.

I've been wearing a bra since lumpectomy/SNB but no deodorant for me. Not yet anyway....
    Best to you!

I had six nodes removed on Thursday. She said some were "way back there." I still have a little bit of swelling in the arm, especially around the elbow just above it, almost looks like a welt there. So it's been five days. The lines on the inner elbow are still smooth on that side, no lines. You know what I mean, those inner arm creases? They're gone. I made an appointment with the doctor today at 3pm, but my pain is improving every day and even the tenderness where my arm is swelling is improving. Has anyone had arm swelling issues after SLNB?
