Bloody Nipple Discharge-help!

Hi Ladies,

I had a PET scan today, no results, but I have had a huge headache all day, and then a nose bleed and just now I noticed that I have a bloody discharge from my nipple. About 4 weeks ago I had a stereotactib bx, which turned out "OK", they said have it rechecked in 6 mos. At the time of my last bx, the discharge was milky. Anyway, my question, can bloody discharge be nothing????????????????? Its only from one nipple. I am freaking out!!

    I had bloody discharge a week or so after my biopsy. I FREAKED, but my doc said it happens sometimes after the biopsy due to blood in the milk duct. It would have been nice to know that BEFORE I found the blood!

    I would call your doc, but try not to freak....it could be nothing...mine was

    Thank you Deb!!! The bx was about 4 weeks ago. So..maybe. I will call first thing in the morning. I think I will try and go to bed now. My head is pounding!! By the way...I LOVE your picture!!!! :-)

    G hope this has cleared up. And yes as Deb said it would be nice to know these things can happen before it does!

    well, it did clear up. I still have a discharge, but no longer bloody. I think Deb was right that it was from the bx. That's what the onco. seemed to think too. this board and ALL the women on here have been a huge source of support!!!!

    So glad to hear it! Mine took a few weeks to totally go away and never came back. Glad it was nothing
