Divine, I agree. I feel like the white men always felt a sense of entitlement about who they were and didn't feel they had to measure up to any Pres. or anyone else. So I do imagine they were miffed to the nth. degree at a black male who was so casually appropriate and also President to boot. Pres. Obama was born with the ability to connect but that was in part because he didn't mind showing himself being humble and greatly moved by so many events. I do recall how he cried for the horror of the school shootings at Sandy Hook and how it seemed Reps. wanted to 'make' something of that -- but it just didn't work. Strength of character and beauty of soul just can't compare to small-minded with sense of entitlement. Reps. and others never really got that some people shine out naturallly and very little can diminish it or them. I still view former Pres. ( with two terms ) as one of our best and brightest, and he still is. He would be a great one to have on the Supreme Court.

Living in a society that under values the spirit, we who embrace it are tempted to apologize. We must stop apologizing, for no subject is more important. It is after all love's retrieval. It is the answer to global hatred. To invalidate the spiritual life is to shoot the fireman that is putting out the fire.

Compassion is the most precious of all gifts. In times of sorrow and bewilderment,
it is what restores us and offers refuge. It is the force of empathy in your own
heart that allows you to reach out and touch the broken heart of another. It is
rooted in the heartfelt acknowledgement that others, like ourselves, yearn to be
free from suffering and harm, and be safe and happy. It is compassion that rescues
us from despair and helplessness, that provides a refuge of peace and understanding
inwardly and outwardly. Compassion does not claim to be a quick-fix for the age-old
causes of suffering, nor is it a magic wand that will sweep away sorrow. But it is
our commitment to compassion and our willingness to nurture it
in every moment that gives meaning to life.

One of the things that silently falls by the wayside when our busy lives get stretched too thin is hope. Hope is never limited to the unreal. Hope is that process within ourselves that stretches us beyond the ordinary, beyond the possible to the impossible, while at the same time rendering what seemed impossible possible. Hope feeds our soul and our being. It is that immeasurable source of power that comes from beyond ourselves and is not controlled by us. Depriving ourselves of hope confines us to a world grown void of color and surprises. We no longer see the flowers and the rainbows that are there. Hope is not expensive to have. It is very costly to be without. -Anne Wilson Schaef

We do have to get there though and unless we can MOVE away from the Loon's appointed a^^-kisser judge we may have some issues with the investigation which the judge so nicely called a halt on for now. Always seems there is a work around but it is the time involved. I did read that we need to do something about the un-qualified that the Loon and McConnell made sure were in place. In that area we are difinetly a disgrace. Heree's hoping.

We have so much to fix and sometimes I just go into a bit of overwhelm on it. I do think though, given time ( that means winning elections ) we can take care of a lot of what has happened and we need to. Need to stop the desruction that the Loon and company happily started and get back to the REAL business of running the ountry and having a highly workable democracy.

Just to be kind, I'll say Boebert had friends/coworkers or someone else in the car but to be more as I really am -- what a hopeless piece of drivel. Sounds like she has a head full ot wet noodles because it sure as he** can't be brains. Pretty much the same response to the maker of the meme above Boebert's. I have never been the smart cookie in the jar, ever, but some of this stufff is soooo pathetic.

On the other hand, I am getting a bit tired of ALL the intense news about the Loon etting his special master. I was on the fence a bit but starting to feel lke DOJ should rebel on it. It is not at all right. Not in any way needed ( so trying to waste time ) and as was stated elsewhere -- the Loon HAS NO executive privilege now and in any case, you can't get privilege over something you stole and KEPT long after several attempts to retrieve them and get them back where they belong. So the judge didn't want to accidentally step on any of the Loon's rights. What few ( I don't think there is much here for sure ) he may have evaporated upon leaving office and even at that nullified by the massive law-breaking. This is what happens to those who have gotten a free pass for most of their lives -- they will bend to any level to keep getting them and employ any willing body to present their casse. A pox of anyone helping that illerate orange con. May they receive a fate as bad as his and twice as quick -- since he seems to stall it off a mite or so.

May be a cartoon of one or more people and text that says 'L IVAN "Before we send an innocent man to prison, shouldn't we let him choose his own judge, bury the evidence, and set the entire system aflame?"'

and we should remember that McConnell and the Loon gave this lady her position, and he did go out of his way ( about 60 miles to be exact ) so that he could file his paperwork with said judge in her court. She should know better -- and it is buying time although I do hope there is some way ( no matter how it is addressed ) to speed things along.

And I am definitely old eough to have enjoyed THESE good ole' days.

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'Younger Americans will have trouble believing this, but there was once this guy named Walter Cronkite, who would read the news on television every week night. He didn't seem to have an agenda, or try to make anybody look bad, or good. He would just read the news, and then. get this. this...WE WOULD ALL JUST MAKE UP OUR OWN MINDS ABOUT WHAT WE THOUGHT. He didn't interview smarmy opinionated talking heads, he just read the news, matter of factly, and then he would just sign off and shut up. I'm not making this up.'

    I could not agree more.

May be an image of 2 people and text that says 'hear people say that Republicans are afraid of Donald Trump. No they're not. They are him, they are sticking with the guy who gives them permission to be their worst selves." MARY L. TRUMP OCCUPY DEMOCRATS'
