Hi everyone! If you are in the Denver, CO area, please join me at the Making Strides breast cancer walk hosted by the American Cancer Society. My team is also promoting visibility and normalization of flat closure as a mastectomy option.
STAFC Flat and Fabulous, Denver
If you are not in the Denver area but like the idea of supporting those of us who have gone flat, please check to see if there is a STAFC team representing in your city. You'll also get a T-shirt featuring "The Simpsons" character Dr. Sage, an out and proud cancer survivor.
Thanks!

Huh?

The minute I saw him mock that reporter early in his first campaign, I didn't need to find out one more thing about him. I could never, ever vote for someone who would do that, even if I agreed with them on every single issue.
-
I don't know what's worse Ruth -- that he does it or that later he has the audacity to call others mean while ignorning the slightest notion that he might have ever been mean to someone else. It was hard to watch a person running to be our President behave in such a disgusting and cavalier manner. I found him ( got that heavy duty sensation ) evil and disgusting long before and while his actions were proof, I already had a very highly negative viewpoint. I'll be so glad when he ceases to be a part of our news cycle almost daily.

Just heard on t.v. -- Sarah Palin won't be on the ticket anywhere for anything come November. Sometime there is a goddess and I am thrilled.
-
-
-
I too was SOOOOO relieved to see that Sarah "burn the books" Palin has lost the election. Even better - the Alaska seat flipped Democrat.
-
Didn't that just make your day, minustwo? Not only is the new congresswoman a Democrat, she's also the first Native Alaskan to represent the state in Congress. Plus she sounds like a thoroughly lovely human being. Way to go, Alaska!
-
Sign of the times: No Democrat has been elected to Alaska's one House seat since 1964. Peltola is the first Native American ever elected to that office.
Alaska is reminding me of Kansas. They're both FORMERLY ruby red states.
-
The recent Alaska election was to fill the seat of Don Young in Congress. While Palin lost to fill the remainder of Young's term, Unfortunately, I believe she is still on the ballot for the November election which would be for a full term.
-
Jelson, you are correct. But if (recent) past is prologue...
-
Fingers crossed!

Our concern must be to live while we're alive--to release our inner selves from the spiritual death that comes with living behind a façade designed to conform to external definitions of who and what we are. -Elisabeth Kuebler- Ross

Oh these memes are golden!

Yes those memes. Glad I don't have to pick just one because I sure can't.

Just loving it:
