Poetic Justice? It is probably not a good idea to piss off God by claiming to know his/her will.

I took most of the day off from news. Was going to catch up this evening and we got busy with some other chores that would not wait so haven't caught much. Did read that people from DOJ's office already went through all the documents from what was lawfully removed from Maralago. So, there is no real need of having any " special master " or indeed anyone else going through those papers since it is done. It was mentioned that the Loon's lawyers waited two weeks ( other lawyers likely wouldn't have ) to file for "special master" and it is something of a moot point now.
The lawyers he has at the moment are apparently not competent in the political arena which is likely a good reason to look for others -- except any lawyer worth their salt are not interested. The Loon is well know for not doing as he is told and of course, his lying is so far off the charts there is no graph for it. Of course he doesn't pay but I think the other two points are enough to get shy on having anything to do with the Loon. I don't know anyone who has been enhanced and is far better than they started by having associated with Loon.
Also sounds like many of the R's are not saying much, in part, as they are concerned. It is not only the list of 'wrongs' done by the Loon, but in some cases, such as those docs at MaraLago , the sheer volume of it all. They don't know what is coming from the DOJ next ( as the affidavit left the road map out ) and they can't even be sure what their party and some of their people may look like when the dust starts to settle and ducks start lining up. It is all going to be interested although scary in some places.
ETA: With you on that one Ruth.

This is now what IDIOT Loon wants someone to do for him. Don't telphone, don't telegraph, tell your loyal idiots.

He did just host a Saudi golf tour in New Jersey.

I misspoke about the judge hearing the Special Master motion--she's not the Magistrate who issued the warrant and ordered release of the heavily redacted affidavit, but a trial-level judge appointed by You-Know-Who. (Keeping her options open in case he gets his second term and Thomas croaks, leaving a SCOTUS vacancy). His lawyers' actual grounds were that the entire search warrant was politically-motivated by Garland seeking revenge in the form of "altering the political landscape." (To which I reply, "and your point is???"). But the DOJ may have mooted that motion by revealing it had already set up a review panel of AUSAs (including some GOP hires), which examined & set aside any documents which might conceivsbly be construed as protected by atty-client privilege.

Love your memes, Jackie, especially about tax forms vs national secrets and “if prayer worked…..” The $10,000 meme says a whhhhole lot, too, sadly.
Ruth, poetic justice indeed!

Letting go doesn't mean we don't care. Letting go doesn't mean we shut down. Letting go means we stop trying to force outcomes and make people behave. It means we give up resistance to the way things are, for the moment. It means we stop trying to do the impossible--controlling that which we cannot--and instead, focus on what is possible--which usually means taking care of ourselves. And we do this in gentleness, kindness, and love, as much as possible.

He just lacks, period. He should end up lacking his seat come election day for him.

Really don't think this one is going to get elected.

Not only is there often a right and wrong, but what goes around does
come around, Karma exists, chickens do come home to roost, and
as my mother, Phyllis, liked to say, "There is always a day of reckoning."
The good among the great understand that every choice we make adds to
the strength or weakness of our spirits—ourselves, or to use an old
fashioned word for the same idea, our souls. That is every human's life
work: to construct an identity bit by bit, to walk a path step by step,
to live a life that is worthy of something higher, lighter, more
fulfilling, and maybe even everlasting.
