Not sure what to make of MRI results

Hello.I have had an MRI (after a mammogram and mammogram with ultrasound) and now I’m scheduled for an MRI guided biopsy. I have the results of the MRI but I have no idea what it all means and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could break this down for me. Thank you so much!

Here are the results in part:

BACKGROUND PARENCHYMAL ENHANCEMENT: Moderate

RIGHT BREAST:

R1: There is a moderate sized area of nonmass-like

enhancement located in the upper outer quadrant 11:00

position mid one third of the right breast. It measures 4.6 × 2 x

3.5 and demonstrates heterogeneous wash-in washout kinetics

with predominantly rapid wash-in and progressive/persistent

delayed washout kinetics. It also demonstrates mild

architectural distortion and is suspicious.

Multiple small benign-appearing cysts throughout

IMPRESSION:

Moderate background physiologic enhancement with multiple

small and moderate-sized benign simple appearing cysts.

These findings should be further evaluated by follow-up in 6-8

months to determine stability.

There is a moderate sized nonmass-like enhancement

demonstrating heterogeneous wash-in washout kinetics with

slight architectural distortion in the area of mammographic

abnormality. It is suspicious and warrants MRI guided biopsy.
