Hi

I was briefly on the forum because of right nipple bleeding. I went through all possible imaging without a conclusion of the cause. So I undertook right nipple central duct excision and breast exploration to rule out the possibility of breast cancer. Result was good and this all happened at end of 2020.

However, nightmare started again at beginning of 2022, left nipple started presenting the same symptoms as bleeding. I took MRI and I got the result -

1.6 cm linear area of non mass like enhancement is seen in the immediate retro areolar breast. No significant non-mass like enhancement. BIRADS - 0

shall I be concerned it might be breast cancer ?

BIRAD of 0 means that the person who did the testing really would not want to make a judgment call on way or another without additional images. If what was being viewed leaned more towards the diagnosis of cancer on first glance then a higher number would be assigned. But a 0 doesn’t rule out anything either so while it is extremely hard not to worry, move forward with whatever additional steps/ images they suggest so you get more information. The more information you get hopefully will give you a clearer idea of what’s going on
