Liver mets?? Please help

Hi everybody. I am having such a rubbish time. I went through treatment for her 2+ er pr - BC in 2017. Had a complete response to treatment and had my 5 year review and was told it was great I had reached 5 years especially with my subtype of BC.


Had my annual breast MRI afterwards and spotted something on my liver. Immediately went for CT which they said snowed a benign hemangioma but to follow up with a liver MRI which I did. Except the liver MRI report says suspicious for metastases.


I now have to a liver biopsy this week and I am terrified. My oncologist said it may still simply be benign but I'm not feeling hopeful.


Has anybody had investigations for something on their liver that looked like mets but was actually ok?


This has been nearly 2 months and I am a woman on the edge.

    Hi SP,

    I am sorry you are going through this. I have some spots on my liver which they are not able to correctly categorize. I have had CT scan and 3 MRIs in the last year. I repeat the MRI every six month and so far no determinant diagnosis. Hang in there! As the saying goes on these forums: today live with what you know.
