Navigating breast ca care during covid - local hosp vs. Pmh?

Hello! Has anyone received breast cancer treatment from Toronto East General hospital. My mom was referred there by her family physician and was able to get her seen fairly quickly. We also took her to TGH ER last thursday because she was having some breast pain. A CT there showed a large mass in the location of her previous cancer. The ER then faxed a referral to Gattuso clinic.

I tried calling the gattuso rapid diagnostic clinic to see if they received the ER's referral and got voicemail. Is there another way to get through to someone? Also wondering with covid (and now a 6th wave) how the state of things might be at PMH in terms of wait times or whether we should stick with the local TEGH Dr. Sawires.

I've been living in the US for a long time and unfamiliar with how things work now in health care in Toronto. Any advice on how we can best navigate her care would be appreciated. Thank you!
