Divine: Congrats to your niece and her achievement of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. Let's hope she makes a time that best suits her goals and has fun doing it. Thanks for the facts on the Boston Marathon. I love history.
Ruth: Had to laugh about your comments about your puppy. Our "pup" is 13 and has her moments when the pup erupts and then 30 minutes alter she is snoring like an old lady. She will most likely be our last due to the fact that we would be concerned about who takes the dog if it outlives us.
Love the memes. They always make me think or make me smile.
I am sure that as much as you missed Reggie, he was in seventh heaven doing the jobs he was so qualified for and loved. You made a sacrifice that benefitted society and that is an awesome deed.
Problem with telling lies is you have to remember what you said, who you said it to and then remember it so you don't trip yourself up. Usually when you tell lies it begins the domino effect for all future conversations because one lie leads to another and another and another ad infinitum. You literally provide the rope for your own hanging or the bite you get on your ass (well-deserved) when someone calls you on it.

The daughter of a good friend ran the Boston Marathon a couple years ago. Many of her family members went out to cheer her on and it was a thrilling experience. Pretty exciting for those of us back home getting updates too.
-
There's a Boston Athletic Association app that I downloaded to my iPad to follow my niece as she runs. I have her name queued up to track her progress on Monday!
-
Definitely the way IT is.
-
And ignorant gynecologists at that! Remember Todd Akin who claimed that women don’t become pregnant from “legitimate “ rape? Not a verbatim quote but he said something to the effect that in legitimate (WTF?) rape a woman’s body has a way of shutting things down. 🙄
-
divine - congratulations on your niece running the Boston Marathon. I’ve been lurking, trying to keep up with the conversations. Enjoy which ever holiday you celebrate.
-
Divine, we followed our runner on the ap too, really makes you feel like you are a part of the action.
-
Happy Easter (If you celebrate it). Happy Spring (if you're having it........it is snowing here in North Dakota!).
-
Since the beginning of time, never has there been another with my mind,
my heart, my eyes, my ears, my hands, my hair, my mouth. None that came
before, none that live today, and none that come tomorrow can walk and
talk and move and think exactly like me. All people are my brothers
and sisters yet I am different from each. I am a unique creature.

Love the meme. Happy Easter everyone. So sorry you are getting snow Ruth. We have done it before but usually the first week of Apr. and usually it warms right up after the snow and all melts pretty quick. Hope that happens for you.
News sounds like the Loon is definitely picking sycophants to endorse and that is fine with us. Any help from that side we can get on our way to ( OH HOW I HOPE ) keeping as much of the House and Senate if not all of it, will be very welcome in '22 election. The media is still trying to palm off the fact of Loon being on the '24 ticket. I don't think so really. He has lost major ground and will carry his vindictive self along with THE BIG LIE into '24. The Reps. don't want to hear it and are worn thin trying to appease the Loon and stay on the decent side of the Loon voters. I've read now a number of times and number of places that the Loon's rallies are sparsely attended. It seems like EVERYONE save maybe for the super die-hards, are growing tired of his rhetoric so often repeated. How long can you tell the same joke -- the punch-line is no surprise and so stale its almost jarring.
Also, I do hope ( there sure have been lots of leaks ) at the end of May or maybe before we can get into those hearings. I do think it may change a lot of minds for the better. Just hope that it inspires the Democrats to come out in full strength.
-
Oh sweet, pious M. Rubio -- never learns. Your reputation goes before you and it ain't what it ought to be and neither are you, home fry.

FYI - Easter, Ramadan and Passover have all occurred at the same time in 2022. This won’t happen for another 33 years. Enjoy your day.

Who's the fat guy in the middle of all those disciplined bodies? The Pillsbury dough boy (insult to him and I apologize)? Doesn't he realize how out of shape they make him appear? Looks like the blob in a MAGA hat! LOL
-
Is that a real picture or photoshopped? Either way.....yuck!!
-
Betrayal, I was thinking something along the same lines ( that's what lard in a shirt and pants looks like ) before I scrolled down and found your entry. He doesn't see himself like the rest of us do, obviously. Someone must have tipped him off to black making you seem slimmer. I don't see that much. Due to the "health" of all around him -- he seems even bigger if that is possible -- as in slightly shorter and looking on the WIDE side. On the other hand -- and speaking of hands -- his look rather small in the picture.
-
ruthbru - it could be photoshopped, but I’m sure orange man is playing golf. But wouldn’t shock me if he’d swing down by the pool for a photo op. Ick

OMG, the LOSER speaks!
-
Good Grief!!
-
-
Well, there is a question about his cognitive abilities so maybe he wears the shirts so he knows who he used to be? Reminds me of when my children were younger and had to wear name tags on class trips. Perhaps his handlers do the same? Anyhow, the shirt is incorrect because it should say in large print "FORMER" in front of the current name. On the back of the shirt in equally large letters it should state "LOSER".
-
Good Morning! I hope everyone has a healthy and peaceful week. Wonder if trump wears Garanimals or just always wears the same ensemble? 😉
-
I was driving down a familiar road one fall day when I almost drove off the road, the beauty was so intense. It looked as if God had sent in a team of the world's finest artists overnight—and I was privy to the opening day of his spectacle. As I slowly drove along this festive row, leaves danced in the air and brushed against my windshield. It seemed as if I had landed in Oz. I was strongly tempted to get out and clap at God's imagination. -Sheila Walsh

No, Putin wouldn't have invaded Ukraine, because a President Donald Trump would have handed it to him on a silver platter.

Read with interest only this morning about the Loon's shirts. I'm not in the least surprised and likely 'idiot' Loon thinks he is on an extended vacation at Mar-a-Lago. I think the article I read had an indication that perhaps his handlers are doing this to keep the Loon happier. He was NEVER happy and never will be since it is the nature of his mental instability to NOT be able to reach that state, and so the self-delusion goes on.
He is indeed a pathetic figure. As out of shape mentally as he is physically. This ends up good for us even if it is sometimes quite jarring for us. I DO indeed feel resentment to a degree about those shirts. As stated as well, what other former president wears shirts that seem to indicate they are STILL president. They don't need to do that. If they were decent, they are remembered. Only a big time loser has to pretend -- and he does have other items -- like a seal ( slightly different ) of the U.S. on stationary. I think he also has a desk that has similarities if my recall is working. That is all the proof I need about his mental instabilities. He keeps reminding people ( if they could but think that way ) what a giant loser he really was and that he was incapable of handling it in any way.
-
He looks terrible. Reminds me of the Joe Diffie song, “Prop me up beside the jukebox when I die.” Wouldn’t surprise me if at some point the Republican party tries to pass a law that dead people can get elected to office.
Here’s my niece in the black and white jacket getting registered for today’s Boston Marathon,

A reminder of a President that works for us.

Go, Divine's Niece! I am watching some of the professional women and men runners on TV right now. It looks like a nice day in Boston.
The Dems need to do a better job of promoting what good things have been done by the Biden administration. They have been very bad at messaging.
-
Issa is as idiotic as all the former WH crew under the Loon. In trouble more than once. If you read up on him, he was a really abrasive Congressman finally saying he would not run again. I think he was mainly disliked and by the time he 'quit' he was just as likely to lose as retain his seat. Spent a lot of time trying to taint people with things. At one time he called Bill Clinton a SLUT and as to Pres. Obama Issa said he was the most corrupt President in modern times.
With No Evidence, Darrell Issa Calls For A Special Prosecutor To Investigate Joe Biden
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) is calling for a special prosecutor to investigate President Biden, with no evidence that Biden did anything wrong.
Nuts before and still nuts now. Partly comes from counting your money when you have way more than you need.
