One of the most common words in the invalidating, self-blaming stories we believe about ourselves or our situations is the word "should."The psychologist Albert Ellis has coined the phrase "Stop shoulding on yourself."When you tell yourself that you should feel or be another way, you are likely to feel bad about yourself. As an alternative, try telling yourself that it is okay to feel or be the way you are, even though you have some idea that you should feel or be different. -Bill O'Hanlon

Well, it just goes on and on. The aftermath of one of the worst president ever and I do use the word president ( which the Loon was pretty much everything but ) extraordinarily loosely. There is no way of getting away for a minute from this abomination. It is not much of a surprise to me that he mis-behaved with important government documents as badly as he did with everything else. What good could come from a narcissistic sociopathic con man who has been in a damaged state his whole life long? He sees himself wholly as a person who can do no wrong, period. Apparently ( did the article say that ) there were burn bags too -- so who know what might have gone up in smoke in addition to items shredded or torn to ribbons.
We are not going to be rid of this heinous monstrosity until someone puts him in jail or until he wrecks the Reps. so bad that not one of them can claim a true allegiance to him. I would have to say -- if any of the Reps. bother to take a REAL honest look, that he not only lost the House, Senate and presidency for them but has continued losses all through and leading up to 1/6 and in most of his days after that date. He and they are dishonest fools full of greed, vindictiveness and a love of power. Only a few have ventured to stand up for some truth and it only comes if they see it as a way to self-cleanse after a long bout of their allegiance to the Loon.

Even though its satire it is actually another thing I would not be surprised to find out.

Good Grief!
-
Of course this is a horrendously serious matter, but thanks for my laugh of the day with the tag line "no word about the silverware".
-
On top of all his other misgivings he's an actual looter as well? Doesn't looting lead to a jail sentence? In addition to the silverware, I would look for candlesticks, too. Most of the presidential gifts he received from foreign dignitaries have to have a value estimation and thereby may be government property and not personal property. Mr. Stickyfingers is at it again!
-
I remember when Drumph moved in and made a big fuss over accusing the outgoing Obama team of stealing WH property.

We can learn to trust ourselves by inquiring within. To practice doing this, sit quietly, close your eyes, and for a minute focus your attention on your breathing. Gently visualize your inner wisdom as a graceful butterfly. Admire her beauty and encourage your butterfly to sit on your shoulder and whisper her wisdom in your ear. Be still and listen. -Sue Patton Thoele

How true, Ruth!!. How with his sleight of hand Trump has always been able to convince people that he is a raving success who knows for sure. Mainly I think because he has learned to lie and project the lie. Also the fact that he was never held accountable for anything has done a lot to help perpetuate exactly what he wants you to see. Not sure why it was too much trouble in the beginning to hold his feet to the fire. If indeed, it happens now (and I certainly hope it does) it is going to be quite painful. I find it really hard to imagine the total consternation involved in having to actually pay dearly for your mistakes at this late date. Then again -- this person did convince himself that he is God's gift to the world long ago so he will likely keep up a reference to witch hunts and Democrats left-sideed vengeance on him. He will fail to see that he is only reaping what he sowed for so long.
-
-
He is just another Reps. trying to pose as a decent person. Another chicken-hearted person worshipping at the wrong altar. You get too close and whatever decency might have once been a part of you evaporates like it never was at all.

What a spineless jerk!

So true and no doubt they will get it right.

From Huffington Post, you can not make this stuff up!
Marjorie Taylor Greene Accuses Nancy Pelosi Of Using 'Gazpacho Police' By David Moye
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) attempted a souped-up attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday, but it created a reaction she did not see coming.
It happened while the controversial congresswoman was being interviewed by OAN host Dan Ball on his Rumble podcast about recent claims made by Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) that the Capitol Police secretly took photos of documents in his office.
She attempted to compare the police's investigation to the work done by the Gestapo, Adolf Hitler's secret police, during World War II.
However, she may have failed to move hearts and minds, mistakenly referring to the Capitol Police as "Nancy Pelosi's gazpacho police."
Perhaps the congresswoman was confused, since "Gestapo" and "gazpacho" both have the letters "G," "A," "P" and "O" in them. -
-
I sincerely doubt the Gestapo ate gazpacho. I would imagine, though, that the Gazpacho Police are strictly and mercilessly enforcing the proper ratio of tomatoes to bell peppers.
-
A cold soup, murderous villians; you can understand why she wouldn't know the difference since they are so similar!

One does not need to fast for days and meditate for hours at a time to experience the sense of sublime mystery which constantly envelops us. All one need do is to notice intelligently, if even for a brief moment, a blossoming tree, a forest flooded with autumn colors, an infant smiling.
Simon Greenberg -
Sometimes I wonder about the LOOK at me utterances from people, but I do know that people like Greene and others are not the best and brightest. She and her other cohort from Colorado Bobert do a lot to make everything around them (except other Reps., of course) look far more intelligent and far more meaningful. These people take up oxygen for no good reason, and I hope when their terms are up -- so are they. They have no business representing anyone since they represent themselves so badly. Go back to school and try again. Something didn't take.

-
So -- it is against federal law to (of course he wouldn't call it that) steal government documents and take them to your home in Fla. (Mar-a-Lago) for safe keeping. So much Trump was hoping people wouldn't find out. Bombshells of some sort must be coming though (while in the first case this is being tuned into DOJ for what it is, a need to look into someone stealing government documents) the other shoe is that someone knows something that is going to come down the pike because they are backing away and I mean McConnell, Christie, Romney, and other high-level Reps. who don't want to get caught in the under-tow. The next few weeks will be interesting and there will be leaks to show the way.
-
Gotta love George Takei.
-
No wonder Trump was always complaining about having to flush the toilet so many times. He was trying to flush away the evidence!
