I was able to see the rocket launch last night from Cape Canaveral. I'm about 2 1/2 hours away. It was much bigger than my photo. The sky was crystal clear. Really cool.

This is Pearlie, trying to get a nap in while I was apparently bothering her:-) She's got the most funny personality of any dog that's owned me.

I'm starting to think I should have been a landscape photographer. I keep finding amazing shapes in nature and wanting to capture them. I hope I'm doing my subjects justice.

Antelope Canyon is in Page AZ. We rented a car in Las Vegas and drove there. Then hit Horse Shoe Bend and Zion on our way back to Vegas. Zion is absolutely gorgeous. I wis we had more time to explore there. I'm not sure how far away Bryce Canyon is from Zion. So many sites to see! I want to return and take my kids with us next time. So different from the flat Midwest.
