Are you talking about Claxton fruit cakes from Georgia? I've seen them in specialty grocery stores in Ohio. I agree, they are the best!

Yes, the Kennedy Centers was wonderful; and something for everyone. Since I grew up listening to/watching most of the honorees & presenters, I enjoyed all of those segments. My mom was an opera buff, so she would have enjoyed that section of the program!

Entrance to MO's office celarly states masks must be worn and notice in wiating room says phone use is prohibited. So as I go to sit down I note that woman in waiting room is scrolling through phone with her mask hanging on her chest. I asked her nicely to please put on her mask and she did. Did not have an issue with her scrolling on phone as long as it was not used to talk. What is with people that once they have crossed the threshold think that mask wearing is a suggestion and not a mandate?

Spookie, have fun with the new tv! Dh and I are getting a smart tv soon and I look forward to the additional content that will be available. Visited with my stepson over the holiday and he’d purchased the exact same tv I plan to buy, and he was able to give me a great run-down of the many features—better than a Best Buy salesman, haha!

I don’t watch many or any news shows, but after a quick google I saw the Rachel Maddow show advertised as being on MSNBC weeknights at 9 pm, and Morning Joe from six to nine am on the same network, both shows Eastern time. Hope that helps.
