As pingpong 1953 mentioned above, I - as a Canadian - don't see any reason why Canadians should be bashing America for not "sharing" the vaccine quickly enough. Everyone was scrambling to get enough vaccine in those days and confusion reigned. It was no one's fault that supplies ran short and people had to wait; it's been a long time since we've had to vaccinate the whole world for an infectious disease that no one saw coming, let alone becoming a pandemic.

What happened happened because we - as a society - became complacent that we'd made so many medical advancements over the last decades that we'd never suffer through an epidemic/pandemic ever again. The "blame game" doesn't work under those circumstances. Should we share the vaccine with those countries less fortunate? Yes, absolutely, if at all possible, but we cannot help others deal with this if we're also sick.

I just began my day by watching the video, Miriandra and it was the perfect way to head into the weekend!!!! I totally love it. The waiting area in the part where the one guy says, “if you want to, have a friend check you out” looks identical to the mammogram place I went to. Oh, and there’s even a bonus ending—-“credits” where the men strut their stuff….including Rothaford! LOL. I will most definitely be sharing this!!! Thanks for posting it!

I'm fully vaccinated with my booster and, no, I don't know what's in it - neither this vaccine, the ones I had as a child, nor in the 11 secret herbs and spices at KFC, or hot dogs, or other treatments…whether it's for cancer, AIDS, the one for polyarthritis, or vaccines for infants or children.I also don't know what's in Ibuprofen, Paracetamol, or other meds, it just cures my headaches & my pains.

I don't know what's in the ink for tattoos, vaping, Botox and fillers, or every ingredient in my soap or shampoo or even deodorants. I don't know the long term effect of mobile phone use or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.

In short ...

There's a lot of things I don't know and never will…

I just know one thing: life is short, very short, and I still want to do something other than just going to work every day or staying locked in my home. I still want to travel and hug people without fear and find a little feeling of life "before".

As a child and as an adult I've been vaccinated for mumps, measles, polio, chickenpox, and quite a few others; my parents and I trusted the science and never had to suffer through or transmit any of the said diseases and,

I'm vaccinated and I wear a mask in public places not to please the government but:

* To not die from Covid-19.

* To NOT clutter a hospital bed if I get sick.

* To hug my loved ones

* To Not have to do PCR or antigenic tests to go to a restaurant, go on holidays and many more things to come ...

* To live my life.

* To see and hug my family and friends

* For Covid-19 to be an old memory.

* To protect us.

Right-wingers trust no literature or writings other than the Bible...but only the "thou shalt not" parts. Easy to understand, even if they take effort to follow. Good news/bad news on the COVID front. Good news: Pfizer's treatment pill, if taken as soon as symptoms appear or there's a positive test result, is 90% effective against severe disease or death. The bad news: Pfizer's treatment pill...is 90% effective.... Of course, it doesn't do squat about preventing infection, because one can't take it until infected (or at least definitively-exposed), as an antiviral needs a virus to kill. But the COVIDiot maskholes are doing the happy dance--if they get sick all they have to do is pop the pill, never mind how many people they'd be infecting before it kicks in--and never mind if the pandemic never goes away. At Union Health today, Bob already had a cop & a firefighter refuse boosters and demand the pill....which isn't available yet. (And there's the pesky little matter of the 10% of hospitalizations & deaths it doesn't prevent.

House is about to vote on a criminal contempt referral for Mark Meadows. The Sen. temporarily ditched the filibuster to raise the debt limit and prevent default. And Sen. Warnock of GA gave an impassioned speech early this evening urging them to do it again, just this once, to pass voting rights legislation. But "Manchinema" are blathering again about the need for bipartisanship...
