Routine Follow Up Care

I have been going to my oncologist on a yearly basis for follow up care which generally consists of (1) routine bloodwork, (2) exam, (3) discussion of any new symptoms, etc. and (4) renewal of medications. I am supposed to be on Arimidex for ten years. I just got notice via my patient portal that the nurse’s assistant canceled bloodwork to be done. Do you think that I should ask why or is this just because they deem it unnecessary (I am considered low risk).TIA!!

Instead of having us speculate on the change, why don’t you give your doctors office a call and ask them?
