dancingdiva - I will be interested to see the answer. I know several people who have had Proton Therapy, but not for breast cancer. Although more & more hospitals are building facilities.

It's very frustrating. It's available across the world but not in Canada. I just don't know where to even start to see if/where I would be able to get this is the States. DD

Try Loma Linda Medical Center in Southern California. They were one of the first to treat prostate cancer with Proton therapy so maybe they can give you some advice. But I do know that MD Anderson has a Proton system now, as well as several others. I just don't know if they are doing breasts yet.

I had proton radiation for BC. I was treated at ProCure in New Jersey. THEY WERE AWESOME. Honestly the best medical experience I have ever had. Incredibly good people. Really personal, efficient, kind healing environment.

I got protons for a L sided TNBC because of heart damage fears. They worked with me financially.

I have a old thread about it "Proton Radiation: Share your experiences."

There are ~20 proton centers in US. If you google Proton Radiation a list of them will come up.
