Red Breast Syndrome

I have just finished steroid treatment for this. Surgeon believes it’s RBS and not an infection because I didn’t have a temperature. Little is known about RBS but it’s thought it could be a skin reaction to the matrix used to cover an implant.

I’m really interested in the experiences of people who got this some time ago. How long did it take to go? Did it fluctuate? Did your implant breast also swell/tighten? Did your breast skin become less sensitive over time.

I’ve noticed that if I wear a bra or if I walk quickly, the implant breast gets warn and pink again. I’m also wondering if drinking alcohol can inflame the skin.Dies breast eventually accept the matrix and stop reacting to it

Any thoughts gratefully received.
