edited November 2021 in Not Diagnosed But Worried

In 2008 I had a total mastectomy of my right breast. I had IDC and am HER 2 +. 4 years ago, blastic process was found in my left pelvic area. Simply put, that is when bone is destroyed while growing new bone. I was told not to worry about it and to have it rechecked every 6 months. My doctor at the time moved to a different practice in the eastern part of NC. No follow up. I moved to SC two and a half years ago with still no follow up until I began feeling the same kind of pain a few months ago. It had moved to my right pelvic area, groin and lower back. My memory came flooding back so my old doctor sent me for exrays this past week. I am waiting for those results. Prior to this new revelation; I started to have problems with my nose. It started running all the time and was sore in two places inside each nostril. I went to an ENT doctor who asked me if I ever used drugs; to which I replied no. She prescribed an antibacterial ointment which hasn't helped and now the tissue in those places is turning black. I'm not scheduled to see another doctor and the same ENT for another couple of weeks. So there you have it. I am literally going out of my mind with worry and need help. Thank you for reading this far.

jubles, I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how scary this is for you. Do you have a PCP you can see? Something is definitely not right. Let us know when you get in to see a doctor.

    (((hugs)))

Thank you Carol. I'm sorry, I don't know what PCP stands for. I have had four strokes and I can't remember things. My GP ordered the ex-rays and he will call me this week. I wish you well in what you are going through. I can't help but think about it every day and imagine a hole the size of a softball where my nose used to be.

Jubles, no problem. We use a lot of abbreviations here. PCP stands for Primary Care Physician, also known as a GP. I'm so sorry you've had four strokes. You've been dealt a lot!

Thanks again Carol. I had to have an open decortication of my right lung the last time I went through chemo due to pleural effusion and pneumonia. They nearly lost me but God had other plans. I will fight now as I fought then; just not as fast. lol. I'm 67 years old so I have slowed down a lot. I do fear chemo but I guess if I have to do it again, I will. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
