Not diagnosed yet but I have a bunch of questions that I’d like to see if anyone has answers to:

1) Do Pagets always start with nipple skin changes? Can it start with just a discharge but the skin looks normal?

2) If the nipple becomes inflamed because of Pagets, will an OTC topical clear it? Only to come back later? Or does the OTC not help at all?

3) The tingling/burning sensation you feel with Pagets, does it come and go?

4) What happened during a wedge biopsy? How long does it take to recover from the biopsy? Can I work the next day?

    Official dx on 11/11/21, but my symptoms started in January this year with my right nipple with a little pink. Had my regular Mammogram that and report read ok. Around April notice skin around nipple very dry, comes and goes. End of May follow up with GYN and another Mammogram and ultrasound ordered , report was normal. I follow up with a demonoligist and started on steriod cream for demerits. After I started having pain a biopsy was done. The demonoligist went to the side of my nipple, had only 4 sutures and went to work a few hours later.

    thank you Sd. Hope you’re doing ok and pray for your success healing journey. Are you having an MRI done?

    Did the steroid cream help you at all? What kind of pain did you experience? Was it like a stinging sensation or actual pain?
