Hi I have not had a biopsy of the lymph nodes of the neck but I did have a thyroid biopsy which is in the neck. It's a bit uncomfortable and usually done with Ultrasound guidance. The good news is that it is quick so if you can just get through a couple minutes you will be ok! Best of luck to you, hang in there. Sending positive thoughts your way.

thank you so much ladies! It ends up my preop Covid test came back positive so my biopsy is moved out till June 3th. I thought I was just having allergies, apparently not. Ughhhhh 🤦🏻♀️ prayers please! My whole family seems to have it! Mom, Dad, hubby, myself and sister! Prayers for healing, please!

As if the regular waiting isn't bad enough - COVID added!!! I wish you and your family well recovering! Hopefully you're good to go for the biopsy June 3 .... Rest up and feel better....

looking for some encouragement! My biopsy in June did not show Mets, thank you, Jesus! However had another follow up US on my neck lymph nodes to see if they are stable, and there are two more and multiple nodes are suspicious with incomplete fatty hila and another with cortical thickening. Radiologist said metastasic disease not excluded 😩 waiting for approval for a PET scan to see if biopsy is needed. I feel like I’m right back where I started last October and scared! I’ve heard that breast cancer Mets to neck lymph nodes are rare, I’m praying for no Mets!!

"Mets Not excluded" is pretty standard for what radiologists write on anything abnormal. Let's hope that these are a results of some infection; even something such as acne can cause lymph nodes to enlarge. Hoping the PET scan yields good news. Sorry you're dealing with this added stress.

You are in my prayers.!! Hope you have no Mets!!! If you can, would lappreciate your sharing your
experience with radiation. Here or in a private msg. Thanks..
I had 2 positive nodes.. and debating over radiation after left mastectomy last month.
I am in a grey area ... and weighing Risks risks of radiation against risk of mets
Md advising the radiation... but I am in a grey area as it is just 2 nodes, and really afraid of Radiation
side effects! Over 60..On Letrizol for one mos. PR ER positive. HER 2 negative
The surgery was difficult.. but went well. ra Any replies will be appreciated from this great group!!
Heather, Keep us posted on how YOU are doing... Wishing you all the best.!!
