Very much so! I was diagnosed with metastatic disease right at the beginning of the pandemic, so many in-person supports were suddenly unavailable to me. I really appreciated having this community to reach out to for information and support, both about cancer and about covid risks. It helped mitigate a lot of the social isolation from self-quarantining during the pandemic.

It was nice to hear from others how they were handling the pandemic. As a teacher I liked reading about teachers across the country and what different school districts were doing. Also, when the vaccines came out it was informative to hear about side effects.

Yes, and it's always been helpful even outside of the pandemic. It helps me formulate better questions when speaking to providers and gives me a better idea of what to expect with particular medications. For Covid, it was helpful to see how other organizations were handling things like lupron shortages, scheduling of appts/scans, etc. Very helpful!! Thanks for all that you do and keeping this going.
