Making Videos for loved ones...

Hi all... so I have started making short 1 to 5 minute videos on my phone to my husband... I usually just talk about what I did that day...what I am making for dinner etc...yesterday I sung to him...along to My Love by Paul McCartney... does anyone have any other ideas of stuff I can do or talk about??

    A vacation memory; a remember when about some funny thing that happened a while ago - or. thing that's only funny now but wasn't then; your wedding memories; what actors remind you of him, what qualities you admire most about him

    Good idea Nicole. I've only been making Instagram reels which are public & honestly I'm not sure who I'm making them for - I just find them fun. so not the same genre at all but it still made me laugh that my family will have this silly archive of me being a dork

    I think videos would be too upsetting for my husband but I got a book “what I love about you” from Amazon and you just fill in the blanks. Also, I plan to make a blanket from pieces of frequently worn older clothing.

    Three to five things you are most grateful for

    Favorite family tradition and why

    Happiest memory

    Funniest memory

    Favorite shared activity and why it’s your favorite

    In line with illimae’s mention of a book, several years ago I purchased one called All About Me that covers all kinds of topics with lines to write my own answers, opinions or views on. I will pull it out if the drawer and browse thru it this week to find a few more ideas for your short videos,

    Another idea came to mind since I just made a goofy little 2 minute video to send to my son to show him this little handheld fan I bought for his grandmother (dh’s mom who is in her 90s). I took the fan out of the box and showed him all the features, the different speeds, the nice stand that comes with it, how it oscillates, ect. I felt like a QVC saleswoman; it was fun. So if you have a hobby or a favorite room in the house or a place in the yard where you like to spend time or some kind of gadget that you like, you could showcase it in a video and discuss why it appeals to you.
