Heart after left breast cancer radiation

Anyone been diagnosed with heart issues after radiation eg midly enlarged heart

    I have not though that is why I was unable to have radiation.... my rheum was concerned about heart (and lung) damage, esp. with my scleroderma - I already have issues with both.... In researching my own cardiology stuff at times I've come across quite a bit of research on the impact of radiation on the heart due to breast cancer treatment : ( Seen cardiac issues related to breast cancer chemo treatment as well. Sorry you are dealing with this!!!

    I developed pericarditis partway through radiation to left chest area. They thought it could be related but weren't sure. It completely resolved.

    Did they not use a breath hold technique? Horrible about the pericarditis. Did they really think that was caused by radiation to left breast?
