Abnormal mammogram needing biopsy
I went for my regular mammogram and now need a follow up biopsy because of abnormality. Has anyone else had this

This is very common. Especially since you had cancer before, they will be extra careful about every little thing that looks unusual.
Hope it goes well & you don't have to wait to long

I had this at my first mammogram post dx. Had a BIRADS 4c and it turned out benign. The radiologist did say that because of my history they were being extra cautious. I ended up with two biopsies within a year and a half. I could not mentally handle it so went for a prophylactic mastectomy! I hope all turns out benign for you. I am sorry you are having to wait and worry.

The report says there is increased calcification and scar tissue - surgery line. Biopsy requested. But my dr didn’t get the second part. It wasn’t on the report. I have my biopsy next Wednesday. Has anyone had calcification with scar tissue .

Hi Prairietwin2; Yes, I have had that and all was benign. I have been biopsied due to scar tissue many times, too. Best wishes, and please keep us posted. Love, Belle xx
