Hey friends,

I can't be alone in needing either some music or an engaging podcast to keep me moving. I know our tastes will be all over the place, but the good thing about that is we'll get inspiration from each other to listen to things we might not have otherwise! I find I get bored of most or all of a playlist within a month, so I'm starting a new one for June and would love it if you'd share any songs you have been finding compelling!

I tend to throw slower tracks on one playlist for stretching, and faster ones on another for everything else.

Don't be afraid to share your favorites. All languages, cultures, tempos, time periods, etc., welcome!

What a great idea for a thread! Keep in mind, you can post videos here, so if you can find the song that motivates you on youtube, you can share the video on this thread so others can click it and groove!

To post a video, simply click the rectangle with the play button in the middle on the post toolbar, then paste the url of the YouTube video in the box, and click insert! Viola!

We hope this helps and we look forward to jammin' right along with you!

This is my current Zumba playlist. It's a mix of new & old songs.

All the songs have choreo except the last one - I just walk around to finish cooling off during that one. Unfortunately some have talking at the beginning so you need to move the slider forward to get to the actual choreo. I know them really well so I know how far to slide forward. Otherwise it's just a short break to get water and catch your breath.

Btw, I started this list in January - hence its name - and back then it had 1 song in it. I was badly deconditioned and had a hip flexor injury and I started with one song (Hawaii) & gradually I added songs & now I have this full class list. Baby steps :)

I enjoy the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, a lot of great 70’s music on it. There is a YouTube version.

Moth, thanks for sharing your workout playlist! I finally got cleared by my docs and PT to start working out again and I tried it out today. I only managed a half hour plus stretching, but it was fun. :)

saltmarsh - how awesome!!! I'm so happy you tried it! My dog and Zumba are what keep me moving ... I can't resist walks and playtime with my dog and I can't resist a good latin pop tune lol

One time when I was doing rads in Feb they piped in a song to which I knew 2 different zumba choreos - it was so hard to lay still

Hi saltmarsh! There's an older thread in the Fitness forum called Music to Pump the Walk you might like.

ok so this went viral last year so you all might have heard it now

    Jerusalema

I learned the line dance steps for it last week. They're a fun quick workout. People are doing lots of dance challenges to this song so there are many variations out there
